I can't get over the irony of a Wlad fan with the sig "Winners win, losers make excuses".

    Post Brewster 1:
    I was poisoned!
My cutman put too much vasline on me!
My blood sugar was too high!
    My food was tampered with!
    Brewster's ppl poisoned my water!
    Don King fixed the fight!

    and on and on...

I'm sure after Fury beats him, he'll come out with more excuses.

The first time I saw this guy fight was live on the Lewis/Botha undercard vs Barrett and he was knackered by the 5th round even though he barely threw any punches.
Fury is a self confident, cawky fighter. He doesn't think he will beat Klit, he knows he will beat him and That's the thing. Wlad's spent his career fighting bums and no hopers who came to lay down to get a paycheck. Brewster and Sanders were among the few mediocre journeymen that flipped the script and actually tried to win and look what they did to him.
Wlad has spent a career facing ordered mandatories, can Fury lay claim to facing his ordered opposition. I can not wait to see this guy grab a title post Klitschko era, excuses a many, it'll be hilarious if he drops a belt to avoid a mandatory I'll be sure to come back to bump this thread, though I expect you'll have long since floated off after the Wlad fight.

When was the last time Wladimir lost, were you even a boxing fan or had started puberty at that time ?

I've been a fan long enough to have had the privilege of watching great HWs fight live. To see what it was then and what it became now is a shame. It hasn't been the marquee division in boxing in some 15 years. It became a farce with top fighters of zero talent.
Wlad still never looked good amongst them all.
I know people who stopped watching HW boxing because of how poor it became. Maybe a talented youngster like Joshua can help bring back some interest, but I know you won't be there to see it after your man is finished.

I'll still be a fan after John Ruiz 2.0 retires just as I was before. Something tells me you won't be around after Wlad's gone.

Upon the Joseph Parker and Usyk eras starting, a long time I would of thought and we can carry on where we left off as you'll no doubt be championing the other Brit's.

Will I be defending Wladimir after his retirement like some die hard Lewis fans ? Very doubtful, I'll have witnessed the era and that will have been good enough for me. It will be a long long if ever we see as successful or as dominant champ rule the roost as our present champ has. Read it and weep.

I'm not even Ukrainian yet have no biases for or against any one fighter wherever they come from, I'll champion multi national boxers even multi continental fighters, yet your posting style reeks of favouritism and a fan boy cheer leader mondset for anything British.

              I feel sorry for you.

                    Purse bid

                    This page has some issues
A purse bid is an initial step in arranging a professional boxing match, involving the fight's/card's promoter(s). All interested registered promoters may bid on the amount of the purse (the total money that the fighters will be paid for the match), if the sides representing each fighter fail to agree on it before the deadline. The highest offer wins; however, the winning entity must produce a small percentage of the total amount up-front by a certain date. How the fighters will split the purse is negotiated between the fighters' respective representatives. Purse bids are often won by one of the two fighters' promoters.
