Interesting analysis.... People think that Fury is less of an athlete the reason? because he looks a certain way. Well. Fury throws punches during a fight. People like to talk about the Cunningham fight...well, Cunningham can punch!
I think Fury is for real. he has skills, he can move, he can punch and he can fight inside....Peter Fury has real confidance and knowledge.
I guess we will see what happens!

I think it will be interesting to see what happens when Fury lands a jab square in Wlad's face in the first round and moves out before Wlad can counter. I fully expect that to happen and I'm intrigued to see what Wlad does. the same thing happened against Pulev, but Fury is not a cement block who can't move.
It'll also be interesting to see if Fury ties Wlad up on the inside and pushes his weight on Wlad.
As I said, Wlad is obviously the favourite, but he has been on a downwards slope since Povetkin imo.

Fury has by far the best engine of any active heavyweight, and averages 70, sometimes 80 punches per round. And he gets better as the fight goes on.
Wlad might knock him out. But he'll need to nail him to the floor.
It'll be interesting to see how Wlad deals with someone like Fury, because Wlad isn't really an agressive fighter. He stays behind the pawing jab and throws the missile a couple of times a round. If he's not careful, Fury's sheer punch output might just lose him the fight.
If you're expecting Fury to fight at the pace he fought Hammer, Chisora and Abell at that is laughable, those guys followed him around the ring face first blocking shots with their heads, you believe Wlad is that guy ?
Wlad's haters have learnt nothing since they so blindly banked on Haye to beat him. You see what you want to see, with total disregard for truth and fact.

I think he'll try and outbox Wlad.
I have more confidence in Wlad ko'ing the goof than any other opponent deemed as dangerous as Fury has been built up by the Brits. Before Fury and after Haye you had guys saying Wlad ducked Chisora, some of this stuff is derived from some far removed fantasy world.

Fury has fought at that pace for the last 4 years. Wlad has never met anyone who throws as many punches as Fury or has the size he has, let alone the combination of the two. And someone who can move.
I'm I suggesting Wlad is the same level as the guys Fury has fought? Absolutely not. But that's the way Fury fights and the way I would expect him to fight in this fight.
I believe Wlad will fight the same way he's fought for the last 10 years. Which is stand back on the jab, grab on the inside and throw the occasional right hand.
It might be enough for him to win the fight. But is he going to go gung-ho and just go for the KO? Absolutely not.

Equal fantasy level.
Personally , I don't really care what you think. Fury is a challenge for Wlad - one Wlad might very well win. But he's still 39 and he hasn't looked good recently.

Ignorant people here are conflating physical appearance with athleticism. Sure Wlad would make for a better coverman for Men's Fitness but he doesn't have half the stamina that Fury does. Wlad threw but 18 punches a round vs Pulev and was huffing and puffing by the 5th. Fury is the all round better mover with Wlad being about as nimble as Frankenstein.

Fury whatever way you look at it or dress it up ducked Ustinov and Pulev, he could have been mandated a long time ago had you say faced a guy rooted in cement. Not only did he elect to forgo the IBF ordered eliminators he also dropped out of the WBC ordered eliminators too ! Upon Stiverne vs Arreola being ordered for the vacant belt, he became loudly vocal himself about Arreola being given the shot, the same Arreola whom was called up upon him removing himself, I remember a certain twitter tirade about some '*******' issues he developed. Nice try, real cute
Fury has fought one of two ways, either behind his jab or wildly gung ho when coming from behind on the cards, relying heavily on dubious and questionable tactics. If he falls behind on the cards, is dropped, takes a knee or for whatever other reason upon trying to make up a points deficit I expect he will revert to type as he has shown historically and outside of the UK where he has had favourable decisions go his way he can expect none of that bar more deductions for his infractions, with the standard of refereeing at the highest level their is absolutely no chance he can utilise his illegal and rough house tactics. The kid is in for a long long night if he makes it beyond the fourth.
Your post as always fails to give Wlad the slightest credit, you're in short saying Wlad can not adapt and will fight the same way he always has. Do you not believe Wlad makes adjustments and adapts in each and every successive fight when facing a different opponent and a new threat to his dominance ? I can't wrap my head around blind hate and biased Brit fan boy-ism. I've heard it so many times before. As David Haye said, "this is gonna be more one sided than gang ****"
Define not looking good ? Winning every round bar one and taking scores of 118-109 on judges score cards to me is looking good. I'll have to agree to disagree on this one, maybe.
