    Yesterday in Panama, the Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association made ​​the call to action everyone has been waiting for, that action being the mandatory fight between WBA/IBF/WBO heavyweight Wladimir Klitchko (64-3, 53 KOs) and his official challenger, undefeated Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs).

    Klitschko taking on yet another undefeated fighter. I hate his clinches but i have to give credit where is due.

      Interesting. So Fury is mandatory with both the WBA and WBO; the IBF has Glazkov and Povetkin ahead of him.

        I'm guessing Fury believes he's worth more than 20% of the split and has been negotiating to that end. Hopefully this gets done anyway as it feels like it's dragged on a bit (maybe that's just me though).

        Is Warren owning boxnation beneficial in purse bids? If an opponent is supposed to get 80% of the TV money for a fight, how do you work that out if the fight is on a monthly subscription channel?
