So, he could move his arm before the surgery even with the tear. Can he throw a punch? Even in 2 more months time I'll doubt he can throw a punch(maybe just the motion but no snap) and a big chance of tearing his sht again. He'll need a long rehabilitation stage to balance the muscles out, strengthening the repaired tendons properly and with patience. Which will take awhile.

Vitali Klitschko went back to training after 4 months following surgery after Byrd. Mayweather another quick recovery after surgery.
P.S, In boxing training, which is a whole other ball game, highly injury prone with the repetitive exercises and the explosivness expected. So they must've healed up in about 2 months, and from there were doing strengthening exercises before getting back into boxing.Last edited by SplitSecond; 06-26-2015, 06:56 PM.

Athletes often think they feel fine or defy doctor's orders. We don't know what the chuckle meant, my guess is that he was joking/exaggerating or being over-confident in how quickly he can recover. When he's actually back in a boxing ring, then you might be able to make some kind of assessment of the true severity of the injury.
I don't even know or care if the injury is fake or not. Just playing devil's advocate. People jumping all over this as if it proves anything is pretty sad. Why do Mayweather fans care about his condition if the injury is "fake" anyway? Revel in the apparent great win.
ShoulderGate is only helping prolong this boring drawn out rivalry.
In an effort to cover up the terrible performance that Pacquiao put forward, they've seemingly overshot how damaged Pacquiao was, before and following the fight (asking for a Torodal injection prior to a fight where in-fight damage only resulted in him missing, in his own mind, six months in the gym would seem to be a bit much).
The rivalry is over; Pacquiao got washed in a fight where he was only so damaged that the recovery process falls pretty well into the lul that he would've taken between fights regardless. There's literally no reason for the rematch now.

Even on that timeline, Pacquiao would logically not be able to get back in the gym, let alone fight, till February/March.

Manny could've had this shot taken in his hotel room like koncz stated. And hidden from everyone. Plus he injured it after the dlh fight, or was it during training for the Floyd fight. Or maybe I'm mistaken, because they say he was at full strength and injured it in the third or fourth round. idk which story to run with.
