Deliberately misleading in what way? He said himself there is a possibility he recovers in 2 months. Whether he chuckled or not doesn't change the fact that he believes it is a real possibility/ He took off his sling 3 ****ing weeks ago! Something that is supposed to take 4-6 weeks and considering how serious and debilitating they made this injury sound I would assume they would take their time with his recovery. These are things HE SAID HIMSELF.

It's misleading in the sense that it gives people the impression that he'll be fighting in two months time.

Athletes often think they feel fine or defy doctor's orders. We don't know what the chuckle meant, my guess is that he was joking/exaggerating or being over-confident in how quickly he can recover. When he's actually back in a boxing ring, then you might be able to make some kind of assessment of the true severity of the injury.

I don't even know or care if the injury is fake or not. Just playing devil's advocate. People jumping all over this as if it proves anything is pretty sad. Why do Mayweather fans care about his condition if the injury is "fake" anyway? Revel in the apparent great win.

ShoulderGate is only helping prolong this boring drawn out rivalry.

More likely than not, he'll be back in the ring by the end of the year. And likely in Macau right on cue. What will you say then Advocate of the Devil?

Here's an "educated" explanation on the recovery process of rotator cuff injuries taken directly from the medical encyclopedia on a government owned website.

Rotator cuff repair is surgery to repair a torn tendon in the shoulder. The procedure can be done with a large (open) incision or with shoulder arthroscopy, which uses smaller incisions.

Thank you Dr. Ironfist for educating us misinformed individuals.I don't know WTF you are trying to prove with your post, but all you have done is make yourself look like an idiot.

I had rotator cuff surgery to repair a severely torn rotator cuff. I wore a sling for six weeks afterwards and still had trouble lifting that arm for at least two months afterwards. I was told by my doctor that I couldn't lift anything weighing more than 10 pounds for six months after the surgery. I couldn't do any upper body exercises for six months and I couldn't run for at least four months after the surgery. Yet, this Motherf......r is going to be fully healed in three months?

Everyone is calling him out because anyone with any sense knows this is a fake injury. Apparently, you don't fall in the category of anyone with any sense.
