Damn it. I was really hoping Mayweather would drive the final nail into the coffin containing Khan's sanity by picking Brook.

This isn't a particularly great fight, either, but it's not bad.

So they put this fight on the same date as the Mayweather fight?
I know that they are in different time zones but still... How much of a delusional dumbfuck you have to be to put your show on the same date as Mayweather's PPV?

And what happened with the "it must be August" thing? If it's in September, then the opponent why isn't someone better than Rios? It starts to get annoying that they either cherry pick or choose C level brawlers with the goal to Brook look good. Dan Ion --> Gavin --> Rios? Such a murderers row...
Thurman can take a fight in September, Bradley probably also can, a rematch with Porter (who fights next in September) would also be better than a Brook vs Rios target practice fight. Hell, even Chaves would be a better opponent to Brook. But it's all right Hearn can't milk that belt forever. One day they will get a credible mandatory challenger at least, I guess...

I'm not sure if you know this, but Mayweather's fights aren't on PPV in the UK?

How much do you think Thurman and Bradley wants for going to the UK? I'm not sure if you think there's endless funds available, but there's not.

Brook isn't yet such a star in the UK where he can just draw massive numbers and get whoever he wants.

It still doesn't do any good to the viewership if they have a fight on the same fate.
And don't call me delusional dumb****.

I don't know about Haymon fighters but I think Bradley or Chaves would go to the UK, just like Rios does. All three in Arum's roaster.

Cant wait to see it as we all know how Rios is coming out, he wont be phased by the fans booing him, hell embrace it and will be interesting to see how Kell handles the pressure and inside fighting capabilities of Rios.

I think it could be tough for Brook, dont know if he can stop Rios due to his workrate, Brook isnt as defensively good as he should be so be interesting.

P.s If Rios somehow wins, i think we know who will be Floyds 50th fight.....Cinco de Mayo with a Mexican= $$$$$$

It helps it if they make the Mayweather fight part of the Brook PPV, which has been done a few times in the past.

Why not? It's fought like 9 hours apart. It literally has no influence at all.

                      Chaves over Rios? Gtfo.

Bradley isn't coming to the UK man, and certainly not when he can fight the likes of Jesse Vargas for $2million+. He'd be lucky to get $1million vs Brook in the UK.
