With Joshua and a couple of other prospects on the undercard, and the Mayweather fight later in the night, it should be a successful PPV.

Brook-Rios as a standalone fight, though, stinks.
The Rios fight is definitely PPV and would have been so regardless.

Eddie can't put Brook and Rios on for regular Sky cash, not going to happen.

They will probably stack the undercard with Joshua vs Wach for example.

He turned down an IBF eliminator with Porter (nothing gets said about that lol) which would have made him Brook's next mandatory and forced the fight. Instead he cherry picked bum ass Jessie Vargas for a vacant interim belt.

Hearn says he would love the Bradley fight after Rios so lets see afterwards.
Dude read my posts. I said exactly the same

      As in, literally.

Thurman and Bradley are both scheduled, so to suggest that he should be in next with either of these guys is ridiculous.

Khan is obviously taking a string of low risk fights in order to prepare for Floyd, needs no more discussion.

If anybody could shed any light on what Maidana is up to that would be sound. Would be a good future opponent.

Rios is up a level from Jo Jo Dan and Frankie Gavin, and certainly better than anybody he fought before winning the title from Porter. Brook isn't exactly a NOBODY in the US, their fight fans will have noticed him take that title from Porter. Problem is it wasn't exactly an entertaining fight, looking good against Rios will do him no harm.
Maidana is currently preparing a comeback at heavyweight.

Did you mention Bradley turning down Porter for the IBF eliminator? He wants to come to the UK for Brook so bad doe!

To be fair to Bradley, the fight was set for the WBO until Floyd started making noise about wanting to keep it.

I read that Bradley would be willing to drop his $2million purse and shot at a vacant title + easier fight on HBO primetime in America, come to the UK in September and fight Brook for $500k on a re-run afternoon show on HBO.

Is it now only for an interim belt? sht, wbo need to sort their stuff out or Arum needs to pay some $$ to Mayweather.

                • i wouldn't be surprised if rios gives kell brook a ton of problems. once again, just because a legend like pacquiao can outclass someone doesn't mean these other top fighters can. this was proven with khan vs algieri and it will be proven again with brook vs rios.

Regardless, he chose to fight Jessie Vargas who is absolutely terrible. He wasn't even a good 140lber and this is his first fight at 147 with Erik Morales as his trainer for a month. You'll never hear HEND complain about Bradley cherry picking though.

                    • Rios has enough stamina and chin to keep things interesting. It is all about the ref in how many times they are going to let Kell hold
