Everyone refused Ward which is why he had to fight on BET with a time buy.
A PPV would not do enough sales to pay Ward his side of the purse.
So how about all of you geniuses who think such a fight is easy to make tell the rest of us exactly how it can be done. And 'get GGG to tell HBO to do the fight' does not qualify. Neither does 'tell HBO to make it a PPV'. Tell us all how you would approach HBO to convince them that everyone could make money on this fight. How they can convince Ward to accept B side money. How to successfully market the PPV. Everything. Go ahead. We are all very anxious to know.
The fight isn't PPV worthy. HBO is a multi million dollar corporation. If they wanted to make Ward/GGG, they could find the money for it.
They could market the fight with a 24/7 as they would any PPV, just put it on regular HBO. They could have it on a free preview weekend, coupled with a big premiere movie, with the hopes it attracts more subscribers.
Asking us to design the marketing and promotion is just a smokescreen. Since when do we as fans have to know all this before a fight can be made.
Dude if your scared, just say your scared or buy a dog.

Casuals have zero clue who Ward is and showing his fight on BET of all channels against a nobody, of course it does awful ratings.

Isn't that what Fraud built himself up with? Werent' his quotes "If it don't make dollars it don't make sense(Cents)" And FloStans ate it up.
Now that the tables are turned, FloStans want GGG to make the fight happen. GTFO.
You claim Ward's the 2nd or 3rd best fighter in the world, then why pick on smaller guys? Ward needs to fight Kovalev anyway. He's a light heavyweight. He needs to sack up and fight him if he and his fans think he's the best out there in and around that weight division.

GGG said he would fight anyone from 154-168, He isn't being picked on.
GGG is the a-side so it doesn't matter what Ward sells.
And for what peanuts? Anyone with a brain knows putting Ward on PPV won't sell. Who would they sell that fight to? the 345K people that watch BET? LOL most of those people won't even shell out money for a PPV fight.
GGG is the A-side and he's choosing to wait for Cotto/Canelo, simple.
Ward, who got beat out by women's soccer and F1 qualifying (not the actual race, but the qualifying) needs to get in back of the line and build himself back up.
Go to HBO, fight Fonfara, Pascal, and Kovalev.

Look man, no matter how you feel about GGG, Ward proved himself against great comp, GGG has not. I can respect any GGG fan thinking he would win.
He's got to prove himself to real fans, not just those that crave "excitement". He is the equivalent of Vince Carter-exciting but not around when it counts.
