As I said previously, your argument is flawed because every fight/fighter doesn't belong on PPV. GGG and ward may NEVER be PPv stars. That fact shouldn't prevent this fight from happening.

HBO can easily afford that amount. This isn't some minor TV station.

At least GGG has been fighting against the best who will step in the ring with him. Ward has done basically nothing for the past three years. He has a lot of work to do to get back his ranking among the best of today's fighters. And fighting an out of shape, overweight, unprepared Paul Smith is not the way to do that.

Ward has a lot of proving of his own to take care of.




Froch - GGG would be in England and would be PPV in England. The boxing world does not revolve around the US, you know? I know Americans like to think they are the most important people on the face of the planet, but guess what? YOU AREN'T!

Ward had a contract disagreement that he tried to work out. That's doesn't erase what he accomplished and doesn't enhance GGG's lack of accomplishment.

We have to face reality-all fights are not going to make it to PPV. If you feel that means the fight shouldn't happen, so be it.

monore draws nothing either, i mean the same can be said for guys like trout and lara and canelo fought them... i understand ggg going for the money like most boxers do, but every now and then is good to take on some of this challenges even for low money... again if he can fight a better name(draw wise) for more money is then understandable...
