Kell Brook has to be one of the most underrated fighters. Solid, solid skills who uses precision, speed, and accuracy, and power; a genuine boxer-puncher.

Pacquiao & Floyd are the only ones that fight at their walking around weight. More specifically Pacquiao. I bet he could make 140 super easy. But the competition & fights aren't there.

Shawn Porter was a good/decent win for Brook. At least it was at the full 147 unlike the Broner fight.

Hopefully Rios gets to wear punchers gloves against Brook.

Yeah he was a 4-1 underdog against a champion who was billed as a potential Mayweather fight and 114 out of a 114 "boxing experts" picked Kell to either lose or draw..

            Only good/decent doe.

            smh

I have a lot of respect for his abilities but I can't get excited about a guy who gets a title and then takes two mediocre opponents when his division is stacked with guys he hasn't beaten yet. There's not a lot of excuses for that kind of squatting. He's too talented to pull this after all the momentum built off the Porter fight.

Shawn Porter is a decent top 10 welterweight.

What's the glove situation with Rios?

Is Rios going to be allowed to wear punchers gloves?

Brook is levels over Broner though, Brook is a TRUE WELTERWEIGHT!
which was like 5% of the fight lol... brook was the clinch master that night, people were booing and fleeing stubhub by the dozen. can't imagine how excruciating mayweather-brook would be.

So he was stabbed in the leg so obviously couldn't fight until late March - who he fought was a mandatory. He offered Khan a fight for June which was rejected. So chose to fight an interim fight against a highly ranked contender in his organisation - which for some reason people don't understand he has to EVEN if it's a voluntary. The other options were Diego Chavez or Sadam Ali. You can hate all you want but those fights aren't sellable at all.

So yeah, I would say he does have some excuses. He's looking to fight 3 or 4 times this year - and has offered highly ranked contenders like Khan a fight, and has previously negotiated with Marquez and Rios. Thurman is fighting in July, he's already beaten Porter, Bradley is fighting soon too. Pacquiao is injured, Mayweather is Mayweather.. So tell me who else would jump at the chance to go to the UK in August?

He was #4 when Brook beat him.

He can wear punchers gloves any time he likes. Unfortunately, one punchers glove Everlast MX has been banned from the BBBofC - who to my knowledge do not have Eddie Hearn or Kell Brook in their boardroom.

He's free to fight in Reyes or any other glove he pleases.

Let's forget Porter's headbutts and rabbit punching and how he rushed in without punching which actually lead to 90% of all the clinches.

                      Let's swipe that one away.
