Why do you think that happens? Alexander has only lost twice at welterweight at that too to some good fighters. And in any case, how is Brook v Alexander any worse than Gavin or Rios? LOL In fact, it's ten times better.

Brook is the best WW in the world not named Mayweather, only him and Thurman have a legitimate claim. What a few spastic Khan fans have to say is irrelevant.
      Ummm, Manny Pacquiao?

People act like losing to Mayweather makes you a bum. The Ring has Brook first under Mayweather, then Pac and BoxRec has Pac right under Mayweather (and Brook after that).

Curious to see where Porter will be on The Ring's rankings after his win over Broner.

Brook didn't leap into a clinch ala Klitschko style - it was a result of Porter's recklessness and lack of skills coming in. If not, show me where.
I see it differently. Porter is a pressure fighter who likes to work in close. He was not head butting Brook. When he got close enough to work inside, Brook dealt with that by putting the clamps on his arms and negating his ability to punch. I am not sure that is legal. I think the rules of boxing needs a better definition concerning that.

I can see a comparison to the Ali-Frazier matchup, when Frazier was able to get Ali to the ropes, Ali did not just put a clinch on Frazier and cease all activity. He held his arms up as a guard. Frazier tried to punch his arms or find a spot to punch through the guard to the head or body.

            Brook held.

Has Brook EVER beaten a single opponent that is good and his same size? Nope.

Does Brook have any impressive wins over a good opponent? Nope.

Does Brook have a good resume? Nope.

Just one win, a lot of people thought he lost, against a at best decent opponent in Porter. A fight he barely won.

Fight Thurman and Spence, a couple good fighters his own size. Instead of fighting Euro bum after Euro bum.

I've already stated I fully believe Brook wins that fight.

What are you on about? So many people treat Kell as the number 2 WW and that he should be fighting Mayweather. He has gotten more than is fair share of credit, the only reason why it's not as high as it could be is because he's fought NO NO Dan and Frankie Gavin. When he beats Rios, noise will return.

This of course comes primarily from deluded Amir 'chin' Khan fans who are looking for every excuse in the book as to why Brook doesn't 'deserve' Khan (lol, cringe).

But some people were also saying before Porter fought Brook that he didn't stand a chance and that Porter would be competitive with Mayweather.. Hell, some even picked him to beat Mayweaher *cough* New England *cough*. Some of those same people turned around and said Porter was just average after Brook mastered him.

Now some people are talking about Porter fighting Mayweather in September smh. What about Brook? He showed the difference between a strong welterweight with skill, balance, movement and and a strong inside game and someone like Adrien Broner tonight. And Porter for that matter.

People, when will you start paying Kell Brook the respect he deserves? He's clearly on another level to these supposed top 10 guys like Porter, Khan, Guerrero, Maidana and Broner for that matter - or whoever you want to mention that's fought Mayweather or might fight him.
Probably about the time you begin to give Wladimir Klitschko the respect he deserves.
