Take any of Brook, Thurman, Algieri, Porter, keep the quality of their resumes (1 or 2 wins apiece) exactly the same and put them at cruiserweight or flyweight. Nobody would have a ****ing clue who they are.

Better than arguing about which one is overrated why not just acknowledge that having a pulse at 140/147 lbs thrusts you into the limelight as the next guy to fight Floyd/Manny.

They are all sickeningly overrated. Fighters in other divisions aren't exalted like this after 1 win, period.

I had him losing to Porter.

And he is respected, lol. What a ******ed thread.

He would get more, if he didn't keep fighting euro bums and fought Thurman instead.

His resume is unimpressive. He has one mediocre win against Porter in which he broke records in holding. All his other opponents are garbage.

Who cares? He got DQd for being a dirty sucker. Plus, you've never seen me dish out praise for Rios anyway. I don't think he's anything special, but he's on Guerrero level. Former champion at a lighter weight and a top 15 guy. Bundu.. Wow. You didn't just bring that up. He literally had a razor sharp disputed decision against Frankie Gavin which you probably haven't seen. They are literally on exactly the same european level.

No, difference between him and Thurman is that Brook has beaten a top 5 guy and Thurman hasn't. That also goes for Khan.

All I took from that is that you put Algieri who's literally not a top 20 WW in the same bracket as Porter, Thurman and Brook.

Let's face it, a bunch of the fighters around this weight are overrated and are about even with each other in terms of talent, while lacking something in the skill department.

It's too bad Brook and Thurman won't be fighting each other, as they are the two who are clearly better than anybody else at the weight class since Bradley has slipped, not including Floyd since he has his own rules of selecting opponents.

That fight will come I hope. In my opinion the two best WWs other than Mayweather.

Whoever wins, whether Brook or Thurman, I just hope people will give them their respect for that win and not do it like Brook vs Porter.

It would be a top win for either, but I don't think anyone's really eager to make the fight. Much more likely they stay on their own paths..

It's a dangerous and potentially career damaging fight for both guys. when the money is right and their names are where they need to be, it'll happen.

Both need a couple of solid wins first. but that's definitely a great fight.
