If you understand a THING about boxing you see Andre Ward is the exact elixir to befuddle Golovkin. GGG is way too easy to hit, for one. Ward is not only too big for him, but too fast, too precise, too good defensively. He would slice GGG up all night with that piston jab. Let's face facts, GGG is really good but he's a middleweight, and Andre Ward is much, much too good in every dept to lose to a smaller man.

Andre Ward is a much better fighter than Golovkin, he is still likely the most well-rounded fighter in the game today.

That fight would be a stylistic nightmare for GGG, who would get undressed.

Honestly tried to watch Ward-Smith and it was unwatchable from the start. Smith was a slow-walking punching bag who didn`t know what to do in the ring. By the third round I switched to Lemieux-N`Dam and never looked back.

Both of those fighters are 1-2 levels below Ward, but whatever pushes your buttons.

He was there to collect a payday. Therefore ward is still irrelevant. Hes fighting at light heavy now so lets see if he really has the balls to fight kovalev like he said he would. Exactly! Ggg is now 2 divisions below ward while kovalev fights in his weight class. Ward fans want ward to beat a big name, but they know kovalev will win even thought they're the same size so they want him to pick someone 2 divisions below. That's like ggg fans wanting ggg to fight pacquiao but making excuses why he shouldn't fight canleo, doesnt make any sense whatsoever

Cotto hold a title in the middleweight division wich is the same divion as GGG, it's why this fight needs to happen as long as Cotto hold his title.
