Honestly tried to watch Ward-Smith and it was unwatchable from the start. Smith was a slow-walking punching bag who didn`t know what to do in the ring. By the third round I switched to Lemieux-N`Dam and never looked back.

Is easy to say Smith was a pushing bag from your perspective but in reality he fought a class A fighter (Ward) who made him look as a pushing bag.

In reality Smith was a punching bag against an A class fighter who needed a tune-up.

**** GGG, let him unify the Middleweight division first, Ward would get a lot more respect beating Kovalev at Light Heavyweight.
Beating a good big man will always get you more respect than beating a good little man.

Back in the picture? Lol he fought a complete nobody who is totally irrelevant and hasn't beaten anyone noteworthy and who also came in with a homer Simpson beer gut, looking like he didn't train a single second for this fight. He was there to collect a payday. Therefore ward is still irrelevant. Hes fighting at light heavy now so lets see if he really has the balls to fight kovalev like he said he would. All these people saying ggg is ducking him yet he fights two divisions below ward who was considered the number 2 p4p for awhile. Kovalev who is actually his size will rip him a new one. Stevenson is out of the picture considering he fights for haymon. Carl froch rematch in Nottingham may be his only option to become relevant again

Congratulations, Ward - you beat the 38th best SMW i the world...

Will you finally step up, and start calling out the best fights for you at 175 like Kovalev?

Why not Kovalev? Wouldn't that be the better fight? Why would you want Ward to fight a guy SMALLER than him? Hasn't he cleared out his weight class, and then some?

Time to move up to 175, and continue to prove his worthiness of that "number 2 pound for pound fighter" title many claim.

Exactly! Ggg is now 2 divisions below ward while kovalev fights in his weight class. Ward fans want ward to beat a big name, but they know kovalev will win even thought they're the same size so they want him to pick someone 2 divisions below. That's like ggg fans wanting ggg to fight pacquiao but making excuses why he shouldn't fight canleo, doesnt make any sense whatsoever

So that's what the result was. I stopped watching after round 5. Smith had landed something like ten punches in five rounds and this fight definitely was not worth watching.
