    Makes sense

Plenty to knock Tito on - but faulting him because he didn't act like some ****** bum over one of Don King's flag; seems like something my 7 year old would say
Did Morales lose his purse or fight when he started swinging at Barrera before their fight? Did Tyson lose out when he started swinging at Lewis in that first press conference? Have any other two fighters lost out or had their fights canceled because they started swinging at each other before a fight?

Ok, well why didn't he try to knock his head off in the ring then? Why didn't he come out swinging like he did against Vargas and so many others?

That's right, he knew he didn't have bricks in his hands and Hopkins would've laughed at his shots.

Scared, that's what he was, Hopkins shook him and exposed him as a cheat.

Trinidad is a notorious slow starter. Vargas went after trinidad and tito caught him with a counter left. That's trinidad's gameplan. Counter punch, combination punching and if he hurts you its over.

You should know that if you have seen trinidad's fights.

Hopkins is just better than Tito p4p and would wreck him regardless - I still don't see the point.

If Tito would have acted a fool in press-conferences and beyond, to rile himself up and the fans - he still would lose. If he was jacked up on steroids, he'd still lose. If they fought 100 times, I'd figure Tito would win 2-3 of those fights because of a lucky shot.

In the end - that's just child antics; to start fights over flags. Got dudes shooting up churches in real life over flags of his forefathers - lets get some perspective on life here.

And to your point about Tyson and Barerra for Tyson, he got his ass whipped - so much for pre-fight bravado and my memory is hazy, but if I remember correctly, Barerra sucker punched Morales which prompted a rightful reaction - not something silly like a cheap flag.

Trinidad definitely had something in his wraps, his power was completely unnatural.

From what I know, the only issue with his wraps is the WAY he wraps them. He's not hiding plaster of paris in them or dipping them in wet ***** as some of you made up.

There was a blown out of proportion controversy that started just because Nazeem didn't like the way Tito had his wraps done, nothing else.

This ain't Margacheato where they found the actual ***** or that Vargas was caught roiding.

            Haterz gonna hate.

The unnatural was that he put all of his weight on his front leg when throwing a punch.

"The Tito thing I think was more of ignorance. It was the fact that they were used to wrapping his hands like that all the time and most of the places you fight, like Vegas and everything, it's cool to wrap like that. So when they came to New York, they didn't think nothing of it. They just wrapped his hands the way they always wrap his hands. Well, we working by and abiding by the rules of New York, so I argued the case. But it ain't like the Margarito thing where he was blatantly trying to pull one off. One was ignorance and one was illegal." -****m Richardson
“I think (the hand wraps) gave Joppy and some of the other guys Trinidad knocked out an excuse,” Richardson said at the time. “I mean, the kid can punch. Trinidad could punch before, he can punch now.
How many times has this topic been dug up from the grave?!?...I thought it was CLEAR Tito's wraps were LEGAL in every state except for NY....dudes STILL reaching?!?...smh

Also a scared p*ssy for letting Hopkins throw down the PR flag down. Why didn't he stomp on Hopkins for doing that? I know if I were a pro-boxer and if some foreigner disrespected Old Glory like that, the son of a ***** wouldn't have made it to the ring. But Cheato? Nah, just let Hopkins disrespect the whole island and people of Puerto Rico.
I distinctly recall Hopkins being ran out and being hauled out of pr in a helicopter within minutes...

Unnatural no. If u watch his fight u will be he follows all the way through in his punches. He used his entire body to throw the punch. Naturally this would leave him exposed and thus he got dropped several times. But unphased he would get up and usually wax his opponents within 2 pounds after the knockdown. His power came from his absolute full commitment to his punches. He never pulled his punches. Dude was just gifted, naturally strong and mentally an animal who actually loved his job. That an combo very hard to beat. In fact he only got beat by movng up a few weight classes to fight all the boogiemen of his era. Hopkins, wright and even Roy jones. Trinidad till this is a boxing God. Notwithstanding his loses he gave us is all in every fight and gave us the improbable fights we all crave today. Trinidad fighting Hopkins and jones is like mayweather fighting ggg. Sure we all want to see it but it's not a smart move for the smaller guy. Trinidad to his credit didn't give a damn and gave it to us. He should not be subjected to bs allegations and should be honored as the soldier he was.
