Margarito did not have near the skills that the guys you mentioned have. Even maidana who was rather one dimensional had better boxing skills... Margarito punched with his elbows flaired out! margarito never applied reach...he came forwards, thats what he did, end of skill set.

a young margarito is a lot dangerous than this version now. i think when people talk about margarito, they think of the current old faded version. margarito in his younger days would have thrown punches non stop, and this is what floyd hates, fighters that comes forward and attack non stop. that's what marg would have done. not saying he could beat floyd, but at that time, he would have given floyd a lot of problems and floyd wanted no part of that.
