whats really happening with all these promoters is simple,they only want to fight ward if they know they can win because losing to a guy like ward who himself isnt a big draw even for a #2 p4p is a bad setback.they call it 'high risk low reward',and thats exactly what ward is.he doesnt bring anything in particular to the table besides the #2 p4p tag but its not like hes got a ton of fans behind him

No doubt in my mind GGG would fight Ward tomorrow too - but I think it makes more sense for Ward than it does for GGG. A fight against Cotto or Canelo is way way bigger than Ward.

the reality is the cat is out of the bag and if ward stays active the calls will only get louder and louder for a ggg ward fight. there wont be many places to run for loughler in the coming year or 2 even more so if he keeps fighting fringe contenders
