Well, I hope there will be more to this story... With each GGG destruction of ranked middleweights it would be harder and harder to avoid questions about him for other name fighters. If Cotto drops the belt or will be stripped, GGG shall go after other beltholders. If they will decline or stall, they will marginalize themselves and lose a lot of respect... Their price as prizefighters will take a hit as a result...

Now compare for instance Murray and Quillen. First took a beating, but scored a lot of brownie points with boxing fans for bravery. He'll get good fights, no doubt. Quillen made himself the target of jokes... his stock plummeted...

Cotto is going to vacate the belt before he gets his butt handed to him by GGG. Oscar also has said that Canelo will not fight GGG for at least two years. GGG is doing his best to stay active with the best that will step into the ring with him. GGG has already tried to negotiate with Carl Froch ast 168 but for some reason Froch has suddenly gone cold to the idea. I think Froch realized that GGG just may be too much to handle, even for him. Ward hasn't earned a shot at GGG yet. GGG will likely also win that one. Next year will be the big year for GGG. So he stays active and has a couple of more fights this year and then cleans up the top names next year. They can't duck him forever. Canelo has been fighting the last three times at 155. You got to think that is because he has trouble making 154. He is still young and growing himself into a war with GGG. Sooner or later it will happen.
If Ward hasn't earned that fight you could make the same argument for fighters not facing GGG. Ward, Cotto, and Even Canelo have hall of fame fighters on their resume. Who does GGG have?
Who is the best fighter he has beaten?

Ward is a gold medalist, won the super 6, cleaned out his division, beat the #1 light heavy at the time but he does not deserve the fight?

GGG does not deserve a fight with Ward, Mayweather, Froch, or Cotto.

Not all of the opponents will be the very best opponent he can fight, but they are all worthy challengers who can potentially cause trouble and they come ready to fight.
How do you know who Golovkins next 4 opponents will be ?

Does the bold describe Golovkins last opponent ?

Name built already. Next step is to make offers to the big boys, good offers cause it costs money to get them in the ring.

GGG is a wrecking ball that knocks down blocks of houses but its time to knock down a skysc****r.

At 33 the Monroes of the world are unacceptable

Unifying the IBF and WBO titles should be a priority if they can't get the pink wearing Puerto Rican in the ring.

Cotto was NEVER a true MW....he just weighed in under the JMW limit for his last fight...so what he stated was FACTUAL!!...GGG's brand is built off this boogyman myth that EVERYONE is avoiding him....which is soooooo untrue!!...when Ward's name is thrown in his direction people use the BUSINESS angle to shoot down the fight....so if that's the case, GGG is not good business for Cotto or Nelo....let him go headline a few PPV's and then halla back....it's business right?
Cotto has the MW belt...HE IS A MW

Yep, when a guy weighing 153 is ranked at MW, he must be pretty damn good

There is nothing for him at 160, Cotto is ducking, Lee has a mandatory for the WBO belt, the IBF belt is vacant. GGG has little options at 160 unfortunately, Murray was all there was left at 160 of the non title holders. The ONLY fight worth it's money is Quillin.
