i'm more inclined to blame the sanctioning bodies for not enforcing their rules and stripping titlists who avoid their mandatory challengers. if those organisations weren't so corrupt golovkin would have cleaned out the middleweight division by now

GGG has been on his "CAN TOUR" too long....he's not gonna cash a big check any time soon....he's too big and too risky for the money trains he's been campaigning for....it is what it is!!
He already makes a million with an opponent the caliber of Monroe ) Wake up, your arguments are no longer valid. At this point in time he needs Cotto/Canelo for mainstream recognition rather than for money. But if he keeps obliterating his opposition, he'll get this recognition regardless. Remember Mike Tyson... A string of weak opponents, but what a following he generated due to the fact HOW he was destroying them.

Johnson/Heiland and Lee/Saunders winner (assuming Lee wins).

Cotto was NEVER a true MW....he just weighed in under the JMW limit for his last fight...so what he stated was FACTUAL!!...GGG's brand is built off this boogyman myth that EVERYONE is avoiding him....which is soooooo untrue!!...when Ward's name is thrown in his direction people use the BUSINESS angle to shoot down the fight....so if that's the case, GGG is not good business for Cotto or Nelo....let him go headline a few PPV's and then halla back....it's business right?
please name ONE middleweight champion or a-list middleweight that has agreed to fight GGG. Just one. We'll wait.........

so a million dollars is BIG MONEY?!?...this is 2015, a million dollars ain't sh't....pill pushers and meth dealers make that much in a week these days

jokes aside, I see your point....he can keep crushing cans for 7 figures and continue to gas the public into believing he's a killer....he'll gain more fans by doing so....you're cool with that?

GGG still has lots of time. He will be in his prime for at least 3 more years. They all can't avoid him for that long. Cotto is a joke for hanging onto the middle weight belt and then stating he is not a middle weight just to avoid GGG.
Yeah, but I've been going thru this every year since 2010. He's always has guys finding reasons not to fight him, even as his market value has increased. His best 3 wins are Macklin, Geale, and Murray - it took over a year of arm twisting to get each of those guys to get into the ring with Golovkin and they were all basically coming off losing big fights.

And he's gone thru this mandatory BS with Cotto before, back when he was Sturm's mandatory and N'Dam was his mandatory. They found ways to never fight him. He can't keep settling for scraps (Johnson, Heiland).

He truly does need a marque name on his resume. Froch would've been great. Lemieux and Alvarez don't need to fight him within the next year. They're both young with big upside and already make good money. Lara would be ok, but it would serve his best interest to purse DeGale on the big O2 show in September.

Heiland may be fighting Tureano Johnson, winner faces GGG.

Boxing legend Sergio Mora got scooped up by Daniel Jacobs.

Is Jermain Taylor in jail or an asylum? I'd love to see Taylor get a shot.

Taylor will never fight again. If he ever did get in the ring with GGG, he would likely have left in a body bag. The man's brain is not exactly healthy.

They would be ****** to let the Lee fight escape, as it would give PBC another shot at getting Lee's belt. I don't want to see 3G fight both Heiland and Johnson, he could beat both of them in one ****in night.
