At age 33, with no light at the end of the tunnel, I think it is personally. Cotto is not fighting him. I would be shocked if that happens. Canelo like he said is going to wait until 2017. As far as the others, they will keep him busy for what next year?

So would you honestly be happy with GGG, who will be headed towards age 35 going into 2017 in the same position he is in now?

i just don't think he'd be in a better position at super middle than he is at middle. he has one legacy fight there, andre ward, which will hopefully still be on the table one year from now, and apart from that it's no different to his current situation (except that his opponents would be bigger than him). my hope for golovkin is four more fights at middleweight, which will hopefully include a couple of unifications, preferably one of them being with cotto or alvarez, and then to move up to super middleweight permanently (i.e. gain 8 lbs of muscle) and challenge ward. but that's subject to change depending on developments in the two divisions (e.g. if ward moves to 175 lbs)

You do know it was HBO who told Haymon to **** off right? Not the other way around. GGG's fighters don't get any "he can't fight him because of politics" when it was HBO who told Haymon to leave. If they limited who their fighters get to face, even if for what I thought was a valid reason, the consequences are limiting your fighters options. GGG doesn't just get a pass for that, sorry.

Also, the fighters demanded those fights happen. These weren't big name fighters, they were CHALLENGES, GGG doesn't seem to be demanding a fight with anyone except smaller fighters. I hate Broner but he moved up two weightclasses because he thought he could win he had that confidence in himself. It'd be nice to see that from GGG, at 32 he doesn't have it in him as a person or he would have shown it by now.

Lara isn't a PBC exclusive fighter. He is the same as BHop-a Haymon client. Both can easily fight on HBO.

The only thing preventing it is HBO approval.

If Lara really wants to fight GGG(which he doesn't)and isn't just talking as usual(which he is) then he will need his daddy Haymon's permission to go get knocked out on HBO.

All you GGG haters can bite me. GGG is by far the best and most dangerous middle weight in the world. GGG is willing to fight anyone but he also has to fight someone that will serve GGG's goal. GGG is willing to fight Cotto but Cotto is not willing to fight GGG. It is for no other reason than Cotto knows he will get beat bad. It is nothing else than that. It is not money or fame or anything else. Everyone wants GGG to move up to super middleweight and fight Ward. GGG will whip Ward when he is good and ready. Meanwhile it is the middle weight division GGG wants to clean up and dominate.
