You quote Loeffler, but I was saying that GGG is claiming that he himself indicated that he wanted to make the fight happen. I doubt Loeffler would/could really stop him if Ward were to come back and say anything other than what you are pointing out in that last bold statement (GGG referenced these points when he said Andre said no.)

This is "good cop," "bad cop." If the Promoter says the fight isn't happening, it ain't happening. A fighter signed to a TV contract can call out all the other fighters NOT on the same TV contract, because they know the fight ain't happening! Same for calling out fighters signed to other promoters who have beef! It is a weak tactic, and it needs to stop! GGG can tell his promoter he wants the fight, and he can put his promoter on blast to demand the fight. When Koncz apologized for the fake contracts, and Manny said "make it happen," the fight happened!

GGG fights off of timing. Fighters like that don't fare well against the Mayweathers or Wards of the world. A stiff jab coupled with intelligent movement, elite athleticism and world class pedigree will END GGG's hype.

GGG just needs to stick to calling out Cotto and Canelo.

Mayweather and Ward are too much for him. Skill vs Skill, GGG cannot hang. He would need a severe weight advantage to beat Mayweather. If GGG can make 154 on the night of the fight then Mayweather should fight him. Anything else is not worth the risk for Floyd.

Floyd fighting GGG at any weight higher than 154 is like GGG fighting Kovalev at 175.

Lara is not a draw. No one has any interest in watching his fights. This was proven on Friday when he had the lowest ratings of any prime time PBC show to date and most of those probably tuned in to watch Beterbiev.

Lets root for the good fights and ley the suits worry about the number. Canelo could say GGG hasn't been on PPV , so could Cotto and Floyd etc. Just fight and lets not give these guys more reason to not fight. Khan has used the same excuse for Brook, blah blah blah and on and on and on.

I don't care about what Cotto has done in the past. That is totally irrelevant in regards to his being the MW title holder and having an obligation that comes with that title to make a mandatory defense. If he does not need anymore belts, then why is he holding on to this one so tightly? VACATE THE DAMN THING AND MOVE ON!

He's not holding on that tight. He just defended it vs. a guy that GGG recently fought. If it was OK for GGG to fight Geale, then it's OK for Cotto to test his skill with Geale too. Again, I like GGG, but no one will fault Cotto for fighting Canelo or Mayweather, instead of GGG. There's just too much money involved. GGG needs Ward, Froch, Chavez Jr., or even B-Hop!
