Wlad needs to jump on this fight. Wilder is nowhere near ready for him right now. Easy pickings.

I think they could build this up as a super fight. The American heavyweight champ vs the European champ. It has potential to be a big event.

And I think too many people count Wilder out. Wlad is old. Especially since this won't happen until next year. Who knows what he'll look like then. Fighters his age get old over night, it wouldn't be the first time it happened. Also, not only does Wlad have a questionable chin, but Wilder has tremendous power. Put those two together and Wilder might KO Wlad. Wilder's power makes him a threat against anyone he faces, it doesn't matter who he faces. The only question that needs to be answered, is how does Wilder react when he gets caught by a Wlad right? Cuz it's going to happen. Wilder's defense has too many holes. If Wilder survives Wlad's punches early, he has a good chance of catching Wlad himself, and I think Wilder has the punching power to send Wlad to the canvas.

Klitschko wanted it next, Wilder/Haymon said "NO, not yet" and so Wladimir is moving on to his WBO mandatory Tyson Fury.

Wilder/Haymon want Klitschko to get OLD first.

Wilder is a joke of a belt holder. The 'champ' is supposed to fight the next in line, but, in this instance, it's back to type for Wilder.

He'll keep padding out his record against no-hopers unless the WBC force the Povetkin mandatory on him. Even then, I suspect some shady dealings behind the scenes to stop the fight from happening.

And it will be a monster.

IMO HW division still needs to build the boys up. Put some life and heat into the division. Right now its luke warm but Wlad is on last legs so next summer is good for me.

U Mad? The great, unstoppable beastmode Sasha Gutvetkin will get his chance. Don't you worry your pretty little head..

In an ideal world, Wlad will get Wilder soon, unify, and then call it a day.

However, I fear Haymon and Wilder will do everything they can to keep the WBC strap hostage.

Maybe just one. But if he gets past Fury I think he can carry on for a couple more years.
