Good post. Just like when Crawford fights at home. I like DW and thank people are being a little rough on him. Also he did more then just right hands last night, he had a knock down with his left hook and used it after the 3rd round when his right wasn't landing. Fun fight.Comment

No I am not rating Joshua too high....he does something very odd in Wilder's world, he throws more than just a slow jab and a very slow right hand, he unleashes calculated flurries, a complete assortment of punches and is fast. The punch stats between Joshua and Wilder are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Joshua would have gotten rid of Molina inside a round without breaking a sweat. No doubt he beats Wilder.Comment

Joshua is just a glorified can crusher right now. Interesting talent but come on its easy to look awesome against the 68th ranked guy in the division..No I am not rating Joshua too high....he does something very odd in Wilder's world, he throws more than just a slow jab and a very slow right hand, he unleashes calculated flurries, a complete assortment of punches and is fast. Your reasoning is seriously flawed because a few months back, Wilder was in the exact same position having fought the bum of the month club. So who exactly did Wilder beat that made him look like he had a chance against Stiverne? No one. Yet he still won. Joshua would be in the same position. Hopefully you don't bet money on fighters chances at the top, based on who they beat because you would be dead broke if you did. History is littered with examples of guys having fought no one of note who went on to beat top fighters in their next fight.Last edited by richardt; 06-14-2015, 02:57 PM.Comment

Good win for Wilder. Molina was in pretty good shape & did better then I thought he would. I gave Molina rounds 3 & 8 but after both rounds he won Wilder stepped on the gas & took it to him. Molina had some moments where he landed good shots. He stunned him in the 3rd with a left hook & landed some good body shots in the 8th but for the rest of the fight it was Wilder in control. It was pretty apparent Wilder was sloppy & swinging wildly trying to finish the fight on more than one occasion. He was much more composed against Stiverne. Maybe he overlooked Molina. He will have to clean some things up if he wants to beat povetkin. Povetkin has been a beast the last 3 fights since his lost to Klitschko.Comment

The thing with Wilder is that he has tremendous power. His raw power can overcome whatever short comings he has in boxing technique. That power makes him very live in any fight he's in. And that includes Povetkin and Klitschko.Comment
