And I don't have a problem with Golovkin asking Edwin Rodriguez to fight at 166lbs. Rodriguez had two fights that year prior to the Golovkin offer: Don George and Jason Escalera. Both on HBO and both at 166lbs. 2012 was Oosthuizen's first year at SMW, before that he had been fighting at 160lbs. Choke on it.

The fans ie the actual boxing fans and not casuals want to see him in competitive fights, for instance someone who represents a challenge, take Ward and Froch, both have said theyll fight him but his promoters go mute when issued with 'make us an offer' it is truly pathetic Matchroom have been ducked by K2 and Loeffler.

Like it or not K2 or GGG possibly both are ducking being called out, instead they are chasing guarantees from JMW's for fights they have issues they have no interest in. At the fight last week you had Oscar ringside showing his interest in making the Ctto Canelo fight, their wasnt anyone of note from K2 there as they know those fights are non starters, instead they send GGG along to smile at the cameras and woo the fans to try pressure Cotto by sticking GGG in his fans face, they're reaching for a fight they know is not going to materialise, same with Canelo, using Kellerman to put pressure on him by sticking the name GGG right down his throat after his fights. They are getting desperate and it is showing, sooner or later GGG's fans and yourselves are gonna be backed into a corner whereby he has to face Ward or Froch, and duly his bubble will be burst.

GGG simply can not stick around fighting Tureano and Heiland it will not satisfy the paying customer, y'all can get wet at the thought Canelo will somehow feel forced into facing him but it ain't happening, time to wake up.

Could you please provide evidence of Ward stating that he is willing to fight GGG since signing with Roc Nation? Anything at all.

Do you not read the board you post on or any other Internet boxing site? If you did, you would know that K2 have been very active in their attempt to set up a fight with Froch but Froch seems to have vanished from the face of the earth. Even Eddie Hearn stated that he was unable to get in touch with him. How is that now the fault of K2 or Golovkin? They approach Froch for a fight, after Froch shoots his mouth off, and suddenly Froch decides to retire!

It is all GGG's fault though. Golovkin should pay Ward's purse out of his own pocket and fight for nothing just to get a fight made that will not advance his primary goal of MW unification in the slightest.

What's your point? He was campaigning at MW before he fought Golovkin and he was coming off a win over Sebastian Heiland at 160. It was his 1st defense of the WBA Fedecentro middleweight title. Get off it. It was a stay busy fight in Panama, off tv, with no money behind it. Golovkin was JWW when he was 19, does that make you feel better?


As for the 166lbs catch weights with Rodriguez & Oosthuizen, as I stated Rodriguez just fought his last two fights 166lbs and Oothuizen was a year removed from 160lbs. Golovkin was hardly weight draining those guys. Keep choking.

Oh, additionally Golovkin offered to fight Gabe Rosado at 158lbs. How cowardly of Golovkin to offer a CW.

Do you have a plan to get HBO to accept Ward as a regular HBO opponent, not on PPV as we all know quite well that Ward is not a PPV draw and at this time neither is GGG. Do you have a plan to convince Ward to accept normal B side dollars for the fight as he is quite obviously not an A side fighter after spending 2 years sitting on his rear end?

There are many question to answer before a GGG - Ward fight can even be considered but no one here seems to want to provide any solutions to these questions. Until you can provide them, please refrain from mentioning Ward in terms of a challenger to the best middleweight fighter in the world today.

You actually sound like you work for Team GGG That rolled out as smoothly as the excuses offered by the team.

Also, I believe its a little premature to start stating "the best middleweight fighter in the world today" since most of the better competition is locked down with Haymon. Leaving only the lesser third-tier bowling pins on the HBO side for GGG to knock over.

It's not an excuse for subpar opponents, it's demonstration of market value which is why Ward/Golovkin isn't happening anytime soon. Golovkin has decent, not yet great market value. Ward has none. They both need more to feed their demands for a fight. Don't pretend Ward doesn't expect big money for this fight.

I wasn't happy about Monroe at all, but he literally had no options other than Tureano Johnson or Heiland. Crap options, but Willie was the best of that bunch. Would you rather he be like Ward and not fight at all? I wouldn't.

At that time nobody was willing or available. Not Lee, Quillin, Jacobs, Lemieux, N'Dam, Froch, Ward ect. Give a name he could've fought in May that he should've?

I can give you two: Hopkins or Lara. I brought those fights up and everyone shitted on them. Hopkins was 50 and just got destroyed by Kovalev and Lara was seen as too small and boring.
