As the winner of the Super Six and Olympic Gold medalist, Ward has more right to talk than anyone between 160lbs and 175lbs. Because I can't think of anyone within that range that can equal Ward's accomplishments.

In spite of Ward's contractual disputes that kept him sidelined, he is still the current Lineal/WBA(Super) super-middleweight champion, and former WBC super-middleweight champion.

Someone show me another between 160lbs and 175lbs that has those accomplishments.

What is the big difference between fighting Cotto and fighting Ward? Cotto holds the WBC championship title and Golovkin is the mandatory challenger. Now if GGG is ever in possession of the WBC SMW title and Ward is the mandatory, then the situations will be comparable. Until then, they are not. Cotto and GGG are both middleweight title holders and GGG wants to unify all the titles. Ward holds a title at SMW that he should have been stripped of long ago and GGG has never fought at that division.

You do not need to be a Mensa member to understand that.
Cotto can make more money by fighting Canelo. It simply makes more financial sense.

Accept it or don't bring up market share and money ever again.

The fight will headline Roc Nation Sports' first televised event on BET.

During Ward's period of inactivity, his name was consistently linked to several potential fights. One of those potential fights would come against WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs).

This is very disappointing from Andre. I was starting to believe that he might actually have the balls to move up himself and fight Kovalev, but obviously not.

But if he's decided he wants a MW to move up and fight him instead of taking that risk himself, then he needs to cut out the rabbit and tell Roc to come up with some money and send GGG an offer.

But if this is your logic then you can never, ever again complain about Cotto choosing to fight Canelo instead of GGG. There is more money for Miguel if he fights Alvarez so he is perfectly in the right to take that road.

So no more b*tching about that, please. You can't have it both ways.
I don't blame Cotto for fighting Canelo for one second, that's exactly what he should do. Additionally I don't want Cotto/Golovkin. It's a pointless fight, Cotto's too small. After watching Margarito walk him down I don't need to see what Golovkin would do.

The only issue with Cotto, and why I'm fine with Golovkin calling him out, is Cotto's pretending to be the MW champ when that's Golovkin's goal. GGG was chasing Martinez when Cotto took the fight from him and now pretends to be the man at 160. Team Golovkin have said that Cotto should let go of the belt and get out of harm's way.

          • Ducklovkin doesn't want it, Ward will UD him, easy fight.

GGG fans live in some ****ed up reality, GGG can call out Ward all he wants, but when Ward shows him for the coward he is and GGG shuts his mouth it's "Ward won't stop talking about GGG doe" lmao.

Ward isn't the lineal SM champ any more. The Ring withdrew the title from him for not defending it in over 18 months.

Andre is just another belt holder now.

Team GGG can't be running around trying to fight Chavez and Froch and then when Ward's name gets mentioned, start fumbling and stuttering while making excuses.

If both Cotto and Canelo are unwilling to fight GGG, then there's no legitimate reason not to accept Ward's challenge.
Yes there is. First GGG is a middleweight so he is not obligated to fight 168 pound Ward anymore than Ward is obligated to fight 175 pound Kovalev. Second GGG is a popular well paid fighter and should get well paid for giving up weight to fight Ward. For all of his God damn talk I have never heard how much money Ward has offered GGG to fight him. Without a solid money offer Ward is just talking **** and has no intention of fighting GGG. So Ward lovers, can any of you say how much money Ward is offering GGG to fight him? No you can't because team Ward has never made a legitimate offer to fight but just a bunch of BS talk which is son of God's specialty.

I'll admit Golovkin doesn't want the fight right now for financial reasons, but you need to admit neither does Andre Ward. His own promoter and trainer are quoted saying so. Ward's just talking because he's a frustrated diva.

Other than that, I'm glad to hear Ward trash talking and calling Golovkin scared. That's going to help make this fight. Andre needs to do his part and regain his status. Challenging fights never happen unless there's demand for them.

Ward is the one doing all the talking without backing anything up. If he wants GGG to move up and fight him for the WBA SM belt, then he needs to shut and send them an offer.

As for Lara, if you do not know the difficulties in getting that fight made, you are too ****** to be on the Internet and should turn your computer off immediately before you start reading all kinds of things that your obviously gullible mind will take as fact.

As for the financial aspects of a GGG - Ward fight... maybe you should raise the money yourself since you seem to think it would be so easy to do.

Actually, after reading you post in totality, I think you should just get off the Internet. My first impression was the right one, you are too ****** to be on it.
"The Lara fight is too difficult to make"
"Ward doesn't make financial sense" (But somehow Monroe Jr does make sense...)

All I hear from you is a bunch of excuses as to why GGG don't step up.

Here is GGG's next opponent, I'm sure you'll get excited :
