What big name? Ward? He is no longer a big name and has not been a name in boxing for years now. Beating a guy who has not fought in almost two years does not make anyone a superstar. And who exactly is supposed to pay for this fight? If Ward really wanted it, Roc Nation could make an offer that Golovkin and HBO could never refuse but they have not done so. This indicated to me that even his own promoter has no interest in investing a large amount of money into a Ward fight as they know there will be no return on investment.

That would be good for him, but the problem is nobody owes it to him, and he doesn't seem willing to do what he needs to do to make it happen. Ward thinks he is the center of boxing, networks need to pay him way more than he brings in, and everyone needs to come fight him in Oakland at 172. **** Ward. He can go waste his talent fighting tune ups on BET or being inactive. Nobody cares.

Team GGG can't be running around trying to fight Chavez and Froch and then when Ward's name gets mentioned, start fumbling and stuttering while making excuses.

If both Cotto and Canelo are unwilling to fight GGG, then there's no legitimate reason not to accept Ward's challenge.

GGG's team called out both Froch and Chavez and they are 8 pounds bigger than him but unlike Ward they bring in the money. GGG isn't calling out Cotto because he wants to fight smaller men, Peasant Crusher. He is calling out Cotto because Cotto is the WBC middleweight champion which is the same weight GGG is champion of. If chicken Cotto is too small to fight full size middleweights then he should give up the title instead of draining middleweight contenders. If Cotto didn't have the WBC middleweight title GGG wouldn't give a damn about him and would not call him out. As long as Cotto has that belt GGG has ever right to call him out.
