Wait, what? Against guys his own size? Your seriously saying Golovkin isn't fighting guys his own size?

And you had Golovkin losing "losing round upon rounds"? Lol the fight ended in round 6 in a fight where Monroe was dropped twice in round 2. So basically you had Monroe winning two rounds in a fight he was knocked down 4 times and TKO'd? Damn this Golovkin guy sucks!

So on one hand, you have a guy fighting bums in hopes of getting a lottery ticket against Canelo and Cotto. Turning their nose up at every damn challenger that doesn't headline ppvs.

On the other hand, you have a guy that hasn't fought in 2 years and threw a temper tantrum because he couldn't get the Chavez Jr fight.

I like both fighters but **** them both until they are in a fight that intrigues me. But as usual fanboys will take sides, and we'll have 25 pages of flaming and "Ward is boring doe" and "GGG is a hype job doe".

This post was on point, and I myself like both of these guys as well.

Yeah, but unlike Golovkin, Floyd actually has opponents willing to fight him.

Unlike Golovkin who's a 'big risk (of getting knocked out), small reward', Floyd is a 'big risk (of getting outpointed), biiig reward".

Golovkin is chasing the big payday (Canelo, Cotto, Froch, Chavez Jr). Floyd is the big payday. See the diffrence?

Despite what Andre Ward thinks, he's not, nor he's ever been a PPV fighter.

In order to get this fight done, Ward needs to get a few wins, get back on PPV list and Golovkin needs to beat a PPV fighter.

In not so many words this fight needs to marinate, any fan with brain knows this.

        • LOL @ Ward being the same guy who ducked Kovalev to call out guys like Triple G and even Floyd Mayweather at 160 LOL...

Ward is talking about fighting a certain level of competition and who are his last two opponents

First of all, Lara and Ward are calling GGG out, even Lemieux and Froch are showing interest for a fight. Stop talking like nobody wants to fight GGG, just a bunch of bull****.

And for your argument that GGG - Ward doesnt make sense financially, see another post Ive made in the thread, If GGG's team was sure he would beat Ward then that fight would make financial sense. The purse would not be that big, but crushing Ward would propel GGG into the top 5 pound for pound and make him a ppv star. His next fights would then make a ton of money. A huge win against Ward would be the biggest investment of his career. Before making 100 miiilons of dollards Floyd had to grind against Castillo/Corrales, Pac against Morales/Barrera.

The thing is, the fight doesnt make any sense financially for GGG's team cause they know he will lose, hence it would not be an investment at all for his next fights, they then chose to fight tomato cans and make ok money instead of taking risk to make huge money.

Ward has none. They both need more to feed their demands for a fight. Don't pretend Ward doesn't expect big money for this fight.

I wasn't happy about Monroe at all, but he literally had no options other than Tureano Johnson or Heiland. Crap options, but Willie was the best of that bunch. Would you rather he be like Ward and not fight at all? I wouldn't.

At that time nobody was willing or available. Not Lee, Quillin, Jacobs, Lemieux, N'Dam, Froch, Ward ect. Give a name he could've fought in May that he should've?

I can give you two: Hopkins or Lara. I brought those fights up and everyone shitted on them. Hopkins was 50 and just got destroyed by Kovalev and Lara was seen as too small and boring.
If you GGG fans want to make it all about "market value" then I accept it and concede that there are bigger money fights out there for Golovkin than Andre Ward.

But if this is your logic then you can never, ever again complain about Cotto choosing to fight Canelo instead of GGG. There is more money for Miguel if he fights Alvarez so he is perfectly in the right to take that road.

So no more b*tching about that, please. You can't have it both ways.

                what a clown you are.

Ward's last 7 opponents : rodriguez - dawson - froch - abraham - bika - green - kessler. Beat them when he was 25 to 29 years old.

Do you really want me to name the guys that GGG was fighting at 27 years old ? He's 33 and he wasting his time fighting crap **** opposition while avoiding any fight that could propel him in the top 5 p4p.

OK... first of all, Ward is not calling GGG out. In fact, he has asked that GGG and his people stop talking about him and has publicly stated that he will not be ready to fight GGG until he has his tune ups done. Get with the times here. As for Lara, if you do not know the difficulties in getting that fight made, you are too ****** to be on the Internet and should turn your computer off immediately before you start reading all kinds of things that your obviously gullible mind will take as fact.

As for the financial aspects of a GGG - Ward fight... maybe you should raise the money yourself since you seem to think it would be so easy to do.

Actually, after reading you post in totality, I think you should just get off the Internet. My first impression was the right one, you are too ****** to be on it.

                      Another complete idiot.

What is the big difference between fighting Cotto and fighting Ward? Cotto holds the WBC championship title and Golovkin is the mandatory challenger. Now if GGG is ever in possession of the WBC SMW title and Ward is the mandatory, then the situations will be comparable. Until then, they are not. Cotto and GGG are both middleweight title holders and GGG wants to unify all the titles. Ward holds a title at SMW that he should have been stripped of long ago and GGG has never fought at that division.

You do not need to be a Mensa member to understand that.
