So which is it? Id like for you guys to make your mind once and for all. Is GGG willing to fight anyone from 154 to 168 or is he waiting for Cotto and Canelo at 160?

Well that's not quite fair. True enough Alvarez hit the ground running with his popularity in the US, but his circumstances were far different from Golovkin.

First off he made his US tv debut on the Mayweather/Mosely undercard vs Cotto's brother. Then he had Oscar sharing the spotlight with him. Additionally he had been on Mexican tv for years at that point growing a strong fan base. Even before he fought Lopez, he fought on the Mayweather/Cotto undercard vs Shane Mosely.

i agree with you, but that doesnt change the fact that 2 years after campaigning in the us alvarez was bigger than ggg... that was the debate with barchman... who has had the easier road or circunstances? yes, canelo...
being mexican and being promoted by GBP makes a big difference, but doesnt guarantee anything...

Do you not remember Chavez Jr running away to Al Haymon instead of fighting GGG last year? That is a real thing that happened.

And how long has he been fighting in the US? A hell of a lot longer than two years. He also has a built in fan base, something GGG is completely lacking. Want to do a census on the number of Kazakhs in the US compared to Mexicans or Puerto Ricans? There are probably more Puerto Ricans in NY City or Mexicans in California than Kazakhs in the entire world!

I'm a big fan of Golovkin, but it is interesting how people give him so much credit for fighting truly worthless opponents even though we are all well-aware of how worthless undefeated records are without proper competition.

Given how Golovkin chased after Chavez Jr. and Froch, the fact that he is delaying a Ward fight should be enough to give even the most die-hard of GGG fans pause.

Floyd fans admit he's a diva, Cotto fans do as well, Canelo fans do as well... Canelo having a diva attitude is sad, but you know what, it's understandable as he did 2.2 million buys with Floyd.

But if you even question one thing on GGG, even as simple as his resume or level of competition. You get 45 pages of excuse making while at the same time calling everyone else's fanbase delusional. 45 pages and GGG still won't get a fight he wants because he doesn't bring in the paper the other guys will. How Golovkin fluffers can be so ****** to just not acknowledge this basic fact on how boxing works is beyond me. Just learn to understand this and he'll get his shot at some point. Chavez didnt join Haymon to avoid GGG, Chavez got into a contract dispute with Top Rank and wanted out, regardless of a GGG fight. Arum cannot force Chavez to fight GGG you idiot, so he could have simply stayed with Top Rank and ask Bob to find him another opponent.

Are you really ****** enough to believe Arum would lose Chavez over a GGG fight in which he has to split revenue?
