not sure i dont see why haymon would try to protect lara, look at laras resume hes had no problem fighting who he really wanted to if the other side accepted. i dont know how long hes been with haymon but if ggg pushes for the fight like he is cottoand canelo i bet money it gets made.

When one guy is constantly in boring fights and getting booed by the fans it's hard to turn around and point the finger at his opponent for being the one that's boring. It's a pattern with Lara. Even against a low quality opponent who is there to be knocked out he still can't do it.

It depends on how Lara is matched. No one was saying the Williams or Angulo fight was boring. Lara needs to be matched with brawlers and power punchers and not with boxers and guys who will let Lara off the hook.

I think GGG might be too much for Lara... but it's a good fight anyways... If Lara/Floyd can't be made.... Cotto/Lara would be amazing especially with Lara raising his hands at the end.

People keep making excuses for why Lara career is where it is and why he keeps getting booed. The truth is simple for as talented as Lara is he is his own worst enemy. He chose to fight like a coward against Canelo and he lost more then just the fight in a lot of fans minds. Tonight against a bum who is there to be knocked out he cruises plays it safe and gets booed...again. This performance doesn't get him any closer to another big fight.
