Man Lara is so one gear that it annoys me. Dude has crazy skills but is happy to cruise, that lack of engagement cost him the Canelo fight. He probably beats Cotto but the revitalised Cotto with the right game plan beats him. Canelo's body punches were very effective vs Lara and he can't cut off the ring. GGG is a master at cutting off the ring and I'm confident he beats Lara. I don't tend to get too many predictions wrong...just saying (check out how many epoints I got and I joined in January)

not every fighter has power, not every fighter fights the same. if youre not born with natural raw power youre not always gonna get the guy outta there. thats what makes ggg special, if everyone was KOing people in 1 rounds ggg would just be another name, this is what makes boxing what it is, all the different styles, lara gives floyd a way tougher fight than pac and canelo did and its all cus of styles. power isnt everything and alot of these fans need to wake up and realize what and who theyre watching

GGG will force Lara to take out his second gear, and maybe his third. I want to see it.

Did Lara run? Did he hold? Spoil in some way? Did he not consistently land clean shots? Did he not double his opponents output? Delvin was definitely boring as hell and more to blame during the actual fight, but then again, Haymon/Lara chose the guy knowing it would happen.

Rodriguez has no clue as to how to cut off the ring. He followed Lara around and deserved to lose. GGG would have no problem cutting off the ring and forcing Lara to engage. It's unlikely they will fight as long as Lara is Haymon's beotch, but if they did GGG would win by KO in the middle rounds.

How many times do you need to measure someone who your that much better than? Lara, as good as he looked may need a new trainer.

GGG vs Lara makes sense if HBO wouldn't mind it and Haymon got the right amount of $$ for Lara.

Canelo isn't fighting GGG till 2017 according to fish nets
Cotto's reaction to fighting GGG last week tells us all we need to know
Why move up to 168 to fight froch when you're 33 and you run the risk of losing your mandatory challenge since you can't defend the interim belt. Not to mention if Cotto beats Canelo, and you're moving back down from 168 to a CW under 160 to fight cotto, potential weight drain. if Canelo beats Cotto, unless Canelo forces fish nets to make the fight, I don't think Canelo would keep the belt.

Here you've got Lara who's willing to move up to 160 and fight you, you can defend both belts and Lara is easily the best name on your resume as a professional. win/win while you wait for Canelo Cotto to solve itself.
