2) Swift beat the sh't outta Zab bro...had 8 rounds in the bank BEFORE Zab got on the scoreboard....he wasn't SUPPOSED to blow Morales out in the first fight....as I remember boxingscene posters were favoring the GREAT Morales due to Swift's inexperience at that time...when a young pup is in with a LEGEND, the pup will make the mistake of giving the LEGEND too much respect...and that's EXACTLY what happened...a puppy was in there with a fighter he watched on TV and idolized as a kid....it was a learning experience for Swift....the rematch proved it
3) just because people didn't SEEM to think Peterson was gonna be competitive doesn't make it TRUE...Peterson has been in with some VERY good comp...I think the triangle theory got the best of the people who SEEMED to think Lamont was gonna get clocked and iced by Swift
4) the expectations were high after Swift DECISIVELY won fights that he was SUPPOSED to DECISIVELY lose....so that's the reason why people say he's struggled with the others....he beat Lucas DECISIVELY...I wouldn't call that squeaking by

"Herrera got robbed! Danny looked bad! He's a freaking BUM!"
"Rod Salka knocked out?! PFFFFFFF!!!"<---Legit complaint I'll give you this one.
"Garcia got ANOTHER gift decision against Peterson! He can't even beat Peterson clearly! Again, he's a BUM!"
Here's the nitty gritty:
-Lucas Matthysse was built up as this guy who would bulldoze Garcia and it didn't happen. You can cry for a rematch all you want, it might be there in the future, so stop whining and give Garcia for making you eat your words.
-I haven't sat down to watch the Herrera fight, but I am going to give you guys the benefit of the doubt and assume Danny looked bad. The problem with this is that people will start to blow things way out of proportion and make it sound like he got shut out 12-0 or that Herrera looked spectacular. Neither was the case. People cry robbery over everything. Robbery would be Margarito getting a decision against Pacquiao, Pavlik getting a decision over Hopkins, Martinez winning 120-108 had he made it to the final bell against Cotto.
-Salka? I'll give you some haterade on that one. You're right. It was a poor opponent made to be a palate cleanser from the Herrera fight.
-He beat Peterson. And that's not a knock on Garcia for not looking as spectacular as Matthysse. Peterson is a VERY solid contender who's been in there with the likes of Timothy Bradley, Amir Khan, Victor Ortiz, Lucas Matthysse, and now Danny Garcia...all with varied and respectable performances with the only exception being the early TKO loss to Matthysse.
In regards to Malignaggi:

The hate for Danny Swift is strong...
Yes, he was gifted the Herrera fight, and Salka was a joke but...
Paulie at 147 has some credibility.
I think...
The problem is that Danny needs another big performance, and I am not sure that beating Paulie will help him overcome his critics.
Paulie can be hard to look good against, unless you are Shawn Porter.

Wow, I thought this was a sarcastic joke thread at first.
When they gonna stop giving Danny tune ups and gift decisions? Danny "Gift" Garcia
