Paulie is a bitter, jealous, hypocritical little girl that I will never get sick of seeing receive ass kickings.

Nah most people hate him because he's a swag fag, same reason they hate Garcia, Broner, etc.

We have to spend our lives fighting back a feverish desire to beat swag fags to death in public every day so when we see one in a boxing match of course we want them to die.

This is swag fag vs swag fag so no matter who wins I'll be bummed out. I'll probably hit up the local walmart and assault the first teen *****bait I see in a sideways pink baseball cap.

I cross over slap your sideways pink baseball cap off your head stomp on your counterfeit dolce & gabbana shades then scrub your face in my macho chest hair and release you back to your family like a baby duckling

Your dad says to me "thank you for de-swagging my son" and lets me have your mom for a night

Haymon must be targeting the LGBT demographic with this one. Smart business.

His incessant yapping about Pacquiao, a guy about 10 levels above him on a bad day, put a lot of people off him. I won't be cheering for either of them, may the best boxer win.

a few years ago i would have picked paulie for the upset (albeit possibly being robbed on the cards), but he's too far gone now - it's a sideshow

i for one am a big fan of malignaggi. his rant after the diaz robbery was classic, and he's always the most informative pundit/commentator when he's on tv. he made the rest of the sky sports team look like the rank amateurs they are on the recent brook-gavin ppv. he's like the gary neville of boxing punditry

I don't watch football anymore but is Gary Neville that good? Martin Brundle is pretty good as an F1 commentator, Paulie is excellent too.

                    • Boxingscene in a nutshell:

"OMG! I can't wait 'til Danny gets stomped on by Matthysse! LULZ! It's gonna' be awesome!"

"Danny got lucky! He's just lucky that Matthysse's eye got swollen."

"Herrera got robbed! Danny looked bad! He's a freaking BUM!"

"Rod Salka knocked out?! PFFFFFFF!!!"<---Legit complaint I'll give you this one.

"Garcia got ANOTHER gift decision against Peterson! He can't even beat Peterson clearly! Again, he's a BUM!"

                      Here's the nitty gritty:

-Lucas Matthysse was built up as this guy who would bulldoze Garcia and it didn't happen. You can cry for a rematch all you want, it might be there in the future, so stop whining and give Garcia for making you eat your words.

-I haven't sat down to watch the Herrera fight, but I am going to give you guys the benefit of the doubt and assume Danny looked bad. The problem with this is that people will start to blow things way out of proportion and make it sound like he got shut out 12-0 or that Herrera looked spectacular. Neither was the case. People cry robbery over everything. Robbery would be Margarito getting a decision against Pacquiao, Pavlik getting a decision over Hopkins, Martinez winning 120-108 had he made it to the final bell against Cotto.

-Salka? I'll give you some haterade on that one. You're right. It was a poor opponent made to be a palate cleanser from the Herrera fight.

-He beat Peterson. And that's not a knock on Garcia for not looking as spectacular as Matthysse. Peterson is a VERY solid contender who's been in there with the likes of Timothy Bradley, Amir Khan, Victor Ortiz, Lucas Matthysse, and now Danny Garcia...all with varied and respectable performances with the only exception being the early TKO loss to Matthysse.

                      In regards to Malignaggi:

I think people are just quick to dismiss Paulie as a tomato can for the plain fact that he got clobbered by a bumrushing Shawn Porter. Other than that, Paulie is usually a tough, durable boxer who, much like Peterson, has been in there with a lot of greats. This is NOT the fight you want to take in order to gain respect, though. If you win, you won't look good. If you lose, you'll get called a bum because...that's what every boxer is according to boxingscene when they don't perform to exorbitantly high standards.
