Just admit how good Floyd is, when NO ONE can come close to him in a boxing match. Remember Roach and Pac both said they were ready for anything floyd would do. and when asked about floyd utilizing the ring, pac said it doesnt matter if he "runs" god will deliver him to his hands. Hes just far superior to any boxer around his weight class.

If my basketball player is deadly from the top of the key, its the opponents job to stop him, if my football team wins by throwing...keep throwing until an opponent can stop you and force you to do something else. Pac couldve thrown caution to the wind like he said he would, but that jab and those hooks persuaded him to do otherwise. So he stopped doing what he usually does because his opponent made him stop all that wild ****. and thats what worked for pac, (the wild throw caution to the wind type of fighting).
The boxing community doesn't agree with you. Casual sports fans were even more infuriated. Everyone (except Floyd fans) felt robbed. Pac is partly to blame for fighting injured, but right or wrong, most blame Floyd. Floyd Sr. didn't even look happy at the end. I think Floyd fans need to accept this, just like Pac fans need to accept that he lost to Floyd that night. But Floyd's diehard fans won't accept it. He's perfect in their eyes.

If you enjoy people just standing there and punching each other in the face, so be it. I enjoy SKILL and take enjoyment in seeing it.
Trying to make a straw man's argument are you? I never implied that it's only entertaining when two brawlers just shoot away at each, after all we watch professional boxers because of their skills(otherwise why not just watch youtube fights), but it's supposed to be a fight regardless. They are supposed to use those skills to hurt the other man, it sounds cruel, but boxing at the end of the day revolves around two men punching each other., it's pretentious to feign otherwise. If you only want skills, then just watch sparring, or amateur boxing, otherwise educate yourself on the sport and watch fights from every era to see why boxing is much less popular today than is used to be.

As for Floyd, like I said his fights are too monotonous, objectively speaking most of them(or at least his fights of recent years)have no drama or moments of excitement(well not brought about by him anyways), you can love his potshots all you want, but if the fight never moves beyond potshots it becomes predictable and is thus not fun to watch. I liked the Floyd vs Cotto fight, he was hitting Cotto often and hard too, and in the last round he actually hurt Cotto pretty good, almost knocked him down. In that fight I saw Floyd using his skills to make the fight not to take it away, something I haven't seen since. If you enjoy Floyd vs Pacquiao more than Floyd vs Cotto because of the satisfaction of seeing Pacquiao's "lack of skill", then there is simply something wrong with you, seriously like psychologically.

Showtime is about to lose a lot of money. Very few people will buy this fight vs Khan or anybody else not named Cotto. Khan is a C level trash fighter and Thurman in unknown to the rest of the world.

Funny thing is if Floyd said I'm moving up to fight Triple G even at 155 for the MW title...ESPN would be all over it coverage-wise...Triple G would actually bring out the most members of that group of people who order Mayweather fights called: "the want-to-see Mayweather lose purchasers"

When was the last time Floyd was an underdog or even close to even odds-wise going into a fight? Corrales? That right there proves that he never takes risks...
I really think Floyd should accept GGG's challenge at 154! Win, lose, or draw, it would be a mega-fight, and I think Floyd can beat GGG at 154, and it seems I'm not alone:

Because he is so far and away more talented than anyone he steps in with, there is a distinct lack of drama when we watch Floyd. He makes A grade fighters looks C grade, makes the Pacquiaos and Canelos look like comparative amateurs.

So, should he make the leap up to 168, to get in with Andre Ward? That is a bridge too far, though I have in the past pondered having Ward drain to 164 to make that fantasy fight...but I think a middle ground, a leap from 154, where he's fought and performed well at, to 160, isn't asking too much from the man who asks us to call him TBE.

Of course, his passionate backers will take to Twitter and defend him like they are getting paid to do so.

Woods, he's not even a welterweight, they will cry..bizarrely, to me, as he totally is that, the best welterweight in the world…oh, and he's the best junior middle in the world, to boot. They say "he's a welterweight" like this is a guy who loads his pockets with lead to appear heavier than he is.

And I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's the best middleweight in the world, too.

Yep, I think if Floyd stepped to the line, and agreed to fight Gennady Golovkin, he'd better Golovkin.

Because Cotto stepped up his game and made floyd have to fight that way, and thats what other boxers should do. Step their game up, and thats what the Pac fight was supposed to do, but floyd was far too superior to him and couldnt force the fight the way cotto did. That was the reason everyone was calling on pac, to force Floyd to fight. Before the fight, thats all everyone said, that manny with his superior speed and footwork would force floyd to come out of his shell. But his speed was not superior nor was his footwork. Floyd hit him with 81 power shots so he had to be within range a lot. He didnt lay on the ropes much and kept the fight in the middle of the ring and as long as he kept his movement up, manny couldnt do anything with his skill. But this is why manny was supposed to give floyd a fight by forcing the situation. But he had no kind of Defense for those right hands floyd kept landing.

Are you saying that Floyd is unable or unwilling to fight "that way" unless an opponent pushes him? Both answers negate your previous points man. If you are saying that he unwilling that means he is a fighter who when left to his own gameplan will just stink up the joing, meaning the blame for the boring fights are on him. If you are saying he is unable, then than means his offensive abilities are limited.
