Can't think of one fight where Floyd beat the type of fighter you describe without the fighter being past his prime or at a clear disadvantage (I won't even count all of the nonsense he pulls in Vegas either)...

It's almost guaranteed to be Khan, unless Mayweather somehow gets HBO/Showtime to work out a deal for a Canelo rematch... the only long shot option...

I'll put my money on it being Khan with the biggest Mexican/Latino fighter than can find in the undercard....

Haymon knows Floyd will need an expensive undercard fight...

Event will do under $1 mil PPVs for sure...I know I wouldn't pay for it...

I'm thinking this announcement just might be a promotion for Las Vegas to increase ******** and tourism for the fall season.

SHO & Haymon must know they're risking a low PPV buy rate if Floyd fights this soon. The public is still booing him at events. It's definitely a financial risk for Floyd fighting in September.

Marquez was pretty old when he fought Floyd and he cheated at the scales moving up two weight divisions...
Mosley was 39 and coming off a 15-month layoff
Pacquiao was recognized even by Pac fans as being past his prime (debatable fight as well)

The other guys you mentioned don't fight that bill...

Its not boring when the fighter youre rooting for is always tagging his opponent and always winning, its a competition and winning is very important. Especially when the victim is #48 and you've been on boxingscene before and listened to all the bvll**** the pac-roids would say about the once honorable #48, his speed advantage and being a southpaw and of course his awkward angles he was supposed to fight with. Oh yeah and how he was gonna be punches in bunches and keep coming at floyd no matter what!

That's always your response, #48 blah blah, be real I didn't lie, if everything goes Mayweather's way the fights are always boring, am I wrong? You guys give him a pass because you just want to see him win, most people want to see entertaining fights(hell fights for that matter), something he never provides by choice, so by nature most would root against him.

So how old was JMM when he ko'd pac? Mosley was coming off skull dragging Margacheato, pac had his killer instinct back and was at his best according to his trainer and remember it was pac who wouldnt take the same test he eventually agreed to that cancelled the fight the first time....You guys and the excuses.....

There's only one reasonable fight that would excite anyone and that's Triple G...obviously Floyd avoids or waits risks out...unfortunately, he's too old for that...

Funny thing is if Floyd said I'm moving up to fight Triple G even at 155 for the MW title...ESPN would be all over it coverage-wise...Triple G would actually bring out the most members of that group of people who order Mayweather fights called: "the want-to-see Mayweather lose purchasers"

When was the last time Floyd was an underdog or even close to even odds-wise going into a fight? Corrales? That right there proves that he never takes risks...
