Are you saying that Floyd is unable or unwilling to fight "that way" unless an opponent pushes him? Both answers negate your previous points man. If you are saying that he unwilling that means he is a fighter who when left to his own gameplan will just stink up the joing, meaning the blame for the boring fights are on him. If you are saying he is unable, then than means his offensive abilities are limited.

And in doing so,you increase your chances of winning. If you as a boxer doesnt posses the skills to force him to fight in your manner, then you need to come up with a way to force him to fight in that manner, Cotto did and he still lost. pac wasnt able to make him fight in that manner. His job is to win a competition and he's good at that. I went to school with shaq and i rooted for him. but when he faced hakeem the dream, hakeems skills prevailed and I tipped my cap to him. But if they couldnt stop him from just dunking on them, then thats their problem. Come up with a game plan to make him do other things. No one has come up with a gameplan to force floyd to fight in a way that would make him have a greater chance at losing. Like i said, I enjoy skill over brute strength in boxing, the strongest guy doesnt always win. If the strongest guy was to always win, then we could just do some benchpresses before the match and delcare a winner right then, but we dont because we expect the best BOXER to win at boxing not the strongest. There are different styles in each endeavor. His style works when it comes to winning a boxing match.

So an opponent should force him to turn it up with their skill, or they lack that skill as a boxer, and isnt a well rounded boxer. Like I said I enjoy watching skill and Floyd possess more skill than any boxer he's faced. He always finds a way to win. Ali wasnt the biggest or strongest yet he found ways to win with his skill. Its just what I love in sports, the skills it takes to win. I've been watching boxing since...the first fight I saw was Ali losing to spinks, I remember sugar ray leonard losing to Duran and then comming back in the next fight and making him quit. I saw the hearns vs hagler fight when it happened, so yes i've BEEN watching boxing and love it. But when someone is better youre just supposed to tip your cap and say they were better at that time. And i've lost some HUMONGOUS games in my time, and was taught not to cry about, but get better and come back with a better gameplan. So it may be boring to you and I respect that, but watching his skill is what appeals to me.

Floyd is a few months shy of 39, cut him some slack. Pacquiao was considered exciting in his prime and even he isn't as exciting as he used to be at 36. Consequence of aging.
