Lets go back to canelo- Jose cotto Miguel's older brother.. Jose cotto hurt canelo early and canelo recooped .. And no doubt that canelo is a different fighter, a lot better he was greener then.. But u can't never really improve your chin.. U can only prepare urself during a fight to see punches better and try to take incoming shots better; but u can't never train ur chin.. Cotto will def land some power on Alvarez and def will take some power from canelo... But timing in boxing is everything timing and speed can neutralize power. And If Kirkland woulda been better skilled he woulda had given canelo some real work

its a tough fight for both but cotto has the power advantage, experience and better trainer overall cotto is the better fighter. I say cotto has the power advantage because he actually knocked out or dropped top level guys canelo has not. canelo has youth and not being in so many wars but he hasn't been tested with someone who can punch back. this can be a tough fight or it can be like the Floyd fight canelo can just stay there and look like a rookie getting tagged all night
