I'll tell you right now a win over Froch is better than Andy Lee and getting a vacant shot of the WBC and beating Quillon. Especially since they 100% think Cotto will never fight them, they say it enough.

There was just an interview with Sanchez after the Cotto/Geale fight saying Cotto will never fight him. If he wants to unify I'm not against that, but Natas seems to think Lee and Quillin are better than beating Froch or Ward. And that brings us around as to why he wants to unify... it's a really good excuse to keep fighting and calling out a much smaller guy for a much bigger payday than Froch or Ward. His guise of unification fools people who are his nuthugging fans, when he just wants the money and drawing power. I have no problem with fame and $$$, just don't say you want unification instead of that be real about it. Because when Froch started heating up to the idea, GGG was all over that. Now, that Froch isn't sure it's "Well we really want to unify."
You mean when Froch came saying, Im probably retired, but if I wasn't I might fight GGG.

I guess that's why a guy from the Philippines became a world superstar? Because Gerry Penalosa was such a huge Filipino icon prior right?

It was enough to get GGG to get to negotiating, his team just said they were and then it stopped. So my point is even more valid.

The unification was at BEST put on hold to cash that Froch check potentially. Like I said, they want money not unification. They're just saying they want to unify to continue to let GGG beat up on a weak division full of smaller fighters than GGG.

pacquiao paid his dues for a long time and only got famous in the usa once hbo and top rank could market him as an all-time great. he was lucky that two real warriors in barrera and morales fought him when they did. de la hoya would have never tried to cherry-pick him if he hadn't had the barrera and morales wins under his belt. if those guys had had the cotto mentality then maybe we'd have never heard of pacquiao

How is the unification put on hold, when none of the other belt holder will fight him, and he jumps a division for a 1 time fight, while waiting for another chance to further unify the division?

well, what more do you want from him? he tried to get a froch fight and it didn't pan out. now he's left with the andy lees and tureano johnsons of the world again

the ward fight is different because (a) it would never get on ppv right now and (b) golovkin would arguably be the 'a side'

How sad... it isn't the country for GGG now it's the time when he was fighting. GGG fans have an excuse for everything lol.

GGG isn't a draw because he's whatever race he is, he was born at the wrong time, no one wants to fight him, he can't move up in weight because well he isn't struggling to lose weight (Not like Floyd/Manny/Cotto were when they moved up) GGG got hit becuase he wanted to... I would keep going but I can't even bull**** that much anymore.

if the title organisations actually enforced their rules, golovkin would be a star right now. he would have fought sturm, martinez, quillin and cotto. what's so hard to understand about that? he has been blackballed and marginalised because he's too good - you don't think that's bull****? do you even like boxing?

You think he's blackballed because he's "too good?" BWAHAHA!!!!!! I love boxing, I love it so much I know it a lot better than you do. If the organization enforced their rules... do you watch boxing, at all? Do you read anything about it?

They go wherever the money is, GGG is in a ****ty spot because he doesn't generate money. Maybe he does, but guess what? For guys like Cotto and Canelo... they're are guys who offer more money. It's why GGG openly said Ward is not an option, because he isn't worth the risk/reward. Guess what... that's the same duck excuse GGG and Canelo give about GGG. Life's not fair #dealwithit

wrong - he's in a bad spot because he doesn't generate enough money to justify the risk he presents - in other words, he's too good. if it was solely about money, cotto wouldn't waste his time fighting guys with even lower assets like geale, would he?

these guys are not fighting golovkin for the same reason that charley burley and sam langford never got to fight for world titles. are you okay with that too?

the ward fight won't happen before golovkin unifies the middleweight division because hbo literally wouldn't be able to afford it. the fight's ratings simply would not cover the combined purse. if roc nation are willing to make up the difference, then the fight can happen. if not, ward will have to wait until golovkin has finished business at middleweight. i want to see that fight and i believe it will happen at some point as long as ward doesn't move to light heavyweight
