Originally posted by SchoolTheseCats View PostThe rules are if you wbo champ in a weight class and then go win wbo title in another one you must decide which division you want to keep wbo title and vacate other wbo belt has nothing to do with another organization belt http://www.wboboxing.com/regulations/ wbo just don't want Floyd to have it to swing title back into top rank/HBO stable section 5 where you can see rules for wbo belt
This is also included in the regulations that you included a link for which you also quite obviously did not take the time to read.
(b) A WBO Champion who wins a non-WBO Championship in weight class that is different than the weight class in which he holds his WBO Championship must decide within ten (10) days of the non-WBO Championship which title in which weight class he will retain. No WBO Champion may hold a non-WBO Championship in a weight class that is different from the weight class of his WBO Championship.
Not my rule, and whether a fighter agrees with it or not he has to abide by it or vacate the WBO title.
Now if anyone else wants to argue the WBO regulations, could you at least read them before using them to back up your point when they don't actually do so?
People have to get over their little conspiracy theories. This is boxing, not 9-11 we are discussing.

They do not claim any authority over any other organization's title, only their own and the conditions under which you can hold their title.

Did you read the letter posted in the article? Go to the bottom of the first page of the letter that was sent to Floyd. It states "no WBO Champion may hold a non-WBO Championship in a weight class that is different from weight class of his WBO Championship"

You heard it here first. Mayweather wants the pacquiao rematch almost as much as Manny. First he said he would, and then he said he wouldn't. He also said his September fight would be his last. Do any of you really believe that? Floyd has the most ridiculous lavish lifestyle of any athlete in the world. He also has huge ******** expenses. He doesn't have enough to sustain his lifestyle for more than 10 years probably. Kell brook is fighting Rios as a set up for a pacquiao showdown. His promoter had the chance to fight Thurman but it seems he and bob arum are close. Pacquiao is going to be next for brook, and Floyd wont be able to resist one last payday next year with pacquiao for the undisputed welterweight championship. Still the biggest fight out there and especially if pacquiao has the one last belt mayweather needs and beats brook in a wembley stadium showdown. Pacquiao will easily beat mayweather with two arms at full strength
