I really wanted to see Floyd go for that 5th lineal while being lineal champ in 3 weights simultaneously by going for Garcia @140 or Cotto @MW, (middlewt wud be Floyds 6th division also), but id be fine with him Unifying 147lb. Either one would be one helluva way to go out! I still believe nothings official as far as his options go, i think he just wants to hold on to the belt until he decides who he'll fight. But if its Brook i will laugh my a$! Off at Con! That would be sweet satisfaction. Khan had 2 f.uckn years to put himswlf in position and turned down 2 title shots since then...2!! And hes still in the same position! Hes fought no one that would make floyd-khan an attractive fight.

A santioning body just making decisions based on hearsay is low as it gets, even worse than the WBC honoring "mandatories". Yes, Floyd "said" he was "going to" vacate his titles but nothing had been official. "he said he was gonna vacate his titles doe"
Not at all. WBO rules state that you cannot hold a title in any other weight class from any other organization. That means Floyd must vacate his titles at 154. Rules are rules and it is nice to see an organization that actually applies they to Floyd as well as everyone else.

          Interesting.
I think it has more to do with Haymon not wanting Top Rank to take the belt back then this being a sign that he wants to fight Brook. Though it could be that as well

yup. I mean come on Vargas vs Bradley for the belt...Is the WBO even trying to hide how much Arum controls them?

I think so. He a big welter, young and strong, technically solid and hes undefeated. Thats the thing with undefeated fighters is that its hard to exploit their weaknesses at this level in the game. But this is Floyd were talkn about and with the quick turn around he'll be very sharp.

Brooks chances are better than "Khan fast doe"

I looked at the Rankings, Somehow, Someway, Even Though Broner will beat Porter, Sadam Ali vs Shawn Porter will happen for that belt after Mayweather vacates all the Belts after he is done with Brook.

Those are 2 fighters in the WBO Rankings. Broner will beat Porter, but I don't think that will affect his WBO Ranking.

Shawn Porter is also haymon, right?

I understand their rule about that. Imo, i think thats a 'jurisdictional' issue and honestly i dont think they should have a say about a completely different organizations belt(s).
