They do not have any say about anyone else's belts, only their own. And those are their conditions for holding their title belt.

Did you read the letter posted in the article? Go to the bottom of the first page of the letter that was sent to Floyd. It states "no WBO Champion may hold a non-WBO Championship in a weight class that is different from weight class of his WBO Championship"

This is also included in the regulations that you included a link for which you also quite obviously did not take the time to read.



Not my rule, and whether a fighter agrees with it or not he has to abide by it or vacate the WBO title.

Mayweather may not be able to read a book, but hes able to get the networks to pay huge money for his fights. And you better believe he will not turn down another 200 million dollar payday next year in a pacquiao rematch if pacquiao can grab the ibf title from kell brook. If he can beat a healthy pacquiao in a rematch and retire as the undisputed welterweight champion at 50-0, I think he could have a claim to be top 5 all time. I think the first pacquiao fight was a fluke considering he had to get surgery a few days after the fight and it was clear he was one handed for most of the fight

I'm inclined to agree with BrushMyHair. I think there is every indication Mayweather fights Brook next otherwise he wouldn't have wanted the belt back. Add to the fact Lance Pugmire's tweet the other day that Khan and Brook are front runners to face Mayweather next. Previously I thought it was nailed on Mayweather would fight Khan in September but I can see it being Brook to unify the belts
