My guess is that Mayweather is going over his options, which is Amir Khan & Kell Brook right now. Amir Khan does have Ramadan and I'm sure Khan will have trouble training for that fight. I think Mayweather should go for the Kell Brook fight while Shawn Porter can be a real option, Kell Brook provides the opportunity to become Undisputed Welterweight Champion and walk away 49-0.

That would be a hell of an accomplishment and Brook is not to be taken lightly. Also, Mayweather has to worry about how the Boxing Media will react to who he chooses and Khan is getting blasted everywhere while Brook is getting praise. The thing is, casual fans Google boxing and get sites like this and others to get their information.

In the end, that play a part in picking these fights. It's why Marcos Maidana got the fight and I'm really glad he did because he's probably besides Miguel Cotto at 154lbs fought Mayweather the toughest. Mayweather vs. Brook would be a hell of a fight.

lol im sorry but im so tired of all these different belts. Its so obvious that the rankings and everything else involved with belts is bought and paid for by promoters and managers and i for one am completely sick of it. These days a title means nothing but a promotional ploy for a prospect. This is one of the main reasons i hope haymon succeeds. If he does he will be able to squash the rest of the belts and his will mean more in time. I dont know i just get sick of them all its ridiculous when you really think about it. I mean seriously how many dam champions can be in each weight class? its got to the point where you can win titles in multiple weight classes without even fighting a championship caliber fighter. I mean seriously who the **** gives a **** if you have a belt this day and age all it means is your one top 10 or so fighters of your weight class big whoop

That would be a crazy year. Dominate an ATG fighter 10-2 then go on to become undisputed champion.
My first thought. I can't imagine him caring at all about the WBO unless he wanted to go for undisputed. Kell Brook is my first choice for a fight against Floyd, so hopefully this is the case.

Startin to sound like Floyd may be thinking of unifying, which would be excellent news. I really hope Brook gets a shot at Money and not Amir Khunt,

Now they also want him to send them a 200,000 dollar check and relinquish his belts at light middleweight? Floyd has been criticized for never being undisputed but people don't realize he is not undisputed because of the politics that go on in boxing and the fact that there are way more belts today then there were 20 years ago.
                Yes, it's all bull**** anyway.

Where he is at present Floyd should just save his money, not pay any sanctioning fees to any of the "ruling bodies" (ha), and fight who he wants.

He IS the undisputed World Welterweight Champion irrespective of what WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO etc etc say.

Mayweather-Brook would definitely be better than Khan, and Brook actually holds a title. However there are other equally "deserving" options. Whoever Mayweather picks there will be people that find fault.

My guess is that Valcarcel wants to be able to give the WBO belt to a Top Rank fighter. Because his daddy Bob Arum keeps bugging him about it.

I read a Guardian article the other day that said Khan has already been chosen and all that's going on right now is grandstanding. I don't know how reliable that article is but if I were Floyd, having just earned $200m and about to make another $50m, I'd wanna retire as the undefeated and undisputed champ. WBO just wants their cash and I don't begrudge them for it if Floyd wants to hold their title.
