Everyone does/attempts to do it to some extent but Roach flat out tells the press this kind of information. I don't know how much say he has for choosing his fighters' opponents but he just gets himself into these messes by saying dumb stuff to the press. Leading up to any fight he always likes to talk about how their opponent is not at their best and he phrases it in the worst way.

A chance at the lineal crown after getting destroyed by GGG? Hard to pass up on. Maidana having to change gloves the day before his fight with Mayweather? Gets paid the most money in his life just to switch gloves? Pretty hard to turn down when you're not rich.

But I agree they shouldn't really complain though once they sign the contract, at that point it's on them. That doesn't mean the A-side isn't being a diva though either.
Oh yeah man, no question about it. It sucks. I think most (if not all of us) would like things to be on more of an equal footing. But as we all know it's boxing and that's just how it works for better or worse (worse). Somewhere along the line the ball got rolling, the first "a-side" motherf**ker in the sport got every advantage, and like dominos falling every other a-side fighter behind him said, "well ****, if so & so did it, then I'm gonna do it that way too".

And I also agree that for some guys, the money & opportunity is just too much to walk away from...and that's unfortunate, but hey, sometimes you gotta go all in and risk it for your big break even when the deck is stacked against you.

The sport is pretty damn unique in this regard, but this TS dude singling out Roach & Team Pacquiao/Cotto for this is laughable, since all the a-siders pull this **** in some form or the other

Roach is an attention seeking motor mouth who never knows when to shut his pie hole, he loves the attention.

I really like Cotto but Roach's fking shenanigans make me want to see Geale beat him, goddamn Roach just stfu.

Stay on topic answer my question

You can't cause their isn't 5 let alone 3 big fights Freddie was the trainer in and his fighter beat a prime fighter no catch weight or recent bad losses

Matter fact just name one... I'll even accept one and I know you wanna say Bradley lol

Roach was not the best or most successful trainer last year on the major scene or the last time

Like junior gong would say his tongue is firmly lodged up Floyd's farter.

Ya I usually just clown the guy because he's utterly pathetic but, for some reason, I gave a legit response and turns out he's dumber than I thought.

This thread is about Roach waiting to for his fighters to fight top names when they are drained or after getting KTFO

When was the last time somebody he trained beat someone that was in top form, no injuries, catchweights or after getting beat up?
Holy shìt! Melt down above. I would ask that those of you that wish to take jabs at floyd TBE, Money, Hard Work, dedication, Mayweather refrain from doing so. Please think of the mental health of his (I want to say fans but then I'd be ridiculing myself) wannabe groupies. Thank you
