Um.....ok.
The guy fought Robert Guerrrero....lol I still can't believe that event took place. Victoria Oriz? And didn't you guys pay like $70 for that?
I'll buy Brook-Rios if there's a decent under card like the one that took place at the weekend. I'll only have to pay 15 quid though.Comment

No I don't try to make this out as a nationalistic thing. I never was a nationalist not even in a light term I never felt that I tied emotionally to my country mates who I don't even know just because I born in the same country as them. Maybe it's a little too extremist and fucked up but that's the situation...If you say so. Thurman is listed as one of your favourite fighters. I don't think Hearn and Brook are doing anything wrong neither are Haymon and Thurman. Their doing what's best for their fighters. Hopefully it leads to a big fight between the two at the end of the year or next year.
My problem is I see people like you, Goober and this other guy go in on Hearn/Brook and especially Goober tries to make it a nationalistic thing. Haymon does the exact same if not worse with his fighters.
Bradley, another of your favourites who I don't see you criticising, is making similar moves, looking out for his own interests - he turned down Rios and Porter in an IBF eliminator cos he knew Jessie Vargas was an easier fight and he'd still get his guaranteed $2m or whatever they're paying him over there. I don't blame him - I don't go around saying he's ducking and it's "an American thing". That's all in response to Goober's mindless trolling.
And I don't criticise him because this fight because I think it's understandable that if he can collect a world title inside one fight instead of collect one inside two fights he chooses the former. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. It would be wrong if Bradley would fight with Vargas for some interim bogus title or WBA regular but he fights for the WBO which count equally as the IBF. So in other words I don't wait from him to turn down an immediate title fight in change of an eliminator fight. You can't wait that from any fighter.Last edited by HEND; 06-05-2015, 11:42 AM.Comment

You pay 15 quid for fights that don't even air in America. That market for boxing in the UK is of a lower standard because your fighters are of a lower quality.Um.....ok.

My point about Bradley is that he's doing what's best for him when he could have taken tougher fights but he doesn't get criticised. Rios is the best available opponent for Brook in August so he does what's best for him. Simple.
