Why can't Pacquiao get the benefit of the doubt from the judges vs. Black opponents?

I mean considering (if we're going by compubox) Floyd threw virtually the same exact number of punches (I think officially Floyd was credited with 6 more attempted punches)? Floyd also threw in the neighborhood of 70 less power punches, and spent 90% of the fight on his back foot.

So if Manny fought like a "scared coward", how do you explain the other guy in the ring throwing the same number of punches as the scared coward, throwing substantially less in the power department, and fighting backwards for the vast majority of the fight?
Difference being floyd fights how he fights. He always fights that way. Sure he can switch it up if necessary but floyd is floyd. Where was the mammy Pacquiao we were used to? He was not present in that fight. In fact, I've never seen him fight like that.

Manny was way behind and clearly needed a KO. Had he done this with a huge lead I'd have understood. But he needed to throw caution to the wind. Manny never looked like winning the fight was important to him. He never looked like he cared he was losing. He didn't try. That's why I call it cowardly.

Look at the Morales loss. He fought bravely until the end and never quit. He did significant damage in round 12. That was the effort we were looking for. He was behind, but looked like he cared. He wanted desperately to beat Erik.

Did you feel Manny felt like this on May 2nd?
the morales loss was 10 yrs ago..

like what Tua said, just because Pac didn't fight "as expected" he automatically lost the round while they gave it to Floyd because he fought the way that was expected of him even though Pac landed clearer punches

Floyd should have the that famous moniker instead of Willie Pep

This is true, but I attribute virtually all of that to Floyd's defensive prowess and counter game. Floyd has done it countless times where he makes fighters appear absolutely lost and clueless offensively.

I don't, no. I was most definitely disappointed in his performance, he didn't sell out nor appear interested in going out on his shield. I'm not going to go as far as saying he fought cowardly because I'm going to give Floyd most of the credit for playing obviously a huge role in Manny appearing that way, but yeah, that said I do know where you're getting at. I think every boxing fan on earth thought that he'd at least attempt to go out on his shield, but in the end he never even came within miles of attempting to do so.

No it wasn't. It was a landslide victory for Pac. If the judges took off their Lil Wayne headphones, watched the fight in super duper slo mo and stopped giving Floyd so much credit for those clean punches they would have scored it correctly.
