Manny was way behind and clearly needed a KO. Had he done this with a huge lead I'd have understood. But he needed to throw caution to the wind. Manny never looked like winning the fight was important to him. He never looked like he cared he was losing. He didn't try. That's why I call it cowardly.
Look at the Morales loss. He fought bravely until the end and never quit. He did significant damage in round 12. That was the effort we were looking for. He was behind, but looked like he cared. He wanted desperately to beat Erik.
Did you feel Manny felt like this on May 2nd?
