Why can't Pacquiao get the benefit of the doubt from the judges vs. Black opponents?

I don't, no. I was most definitely disappointed in his performance, he didn't sell out nor appear interested in going out on his shield. I'm not going to go as far as saying he fought cowardly because I'm going to give Floyd most of the credit for playing obviously a huge role in Manny appearing that way, but yeah, that said I do know where you're getting at. I think every boxing fan on earth thought that he'd at least attempt to go out on his shield, but in the end he never even came within miles of attempting to do so.
That is why I am so frustrated. We all wanted someone to press Floyd and make him work. But letting him dictate the pace and then being content to lose by UD was just pathetic.

They need to change all that, it's too subjective. Effective punches landed should be the sole scoring criteria. That's subjective too, but rather 1 subjective criterion based on something solid than 3 other subjective criteria based on pure perception and interpretation.

OP it's generally the better connected fighter or the home fighter that gets the nod in a close fight, that's boxing.

Floyd got the benefit of the doubt so much against Pac too, so many shots that were iffy or straight up missed were counted, the commentators were dismissive of anything Pacquiao attempted, pretty disgraceful if you ask me.

Neither fighter really did much, people always say "what did Pac do, he missed blah blah" but what did Floyd do? landed the least amount of punches in his career and barely did anything but etch out a win with so many swing rounds.

It's always up to Floyd's opponent to bring the fight, if Floyd does **** all but run away and tap you he wins by default.

            These are the facts!
****** post!!...Calzaghe won a SD against BHop on US soil....many feel like Hop won that fight...so where was the benefit of doubt there bro?

Manny Pacquiao landed in double figures in punches in 3 rounds
Floyd Mayweather did so in 9 rounds per
they gave pac those 3 rds, when managed to land 10 or more punches in a round. So actually Pac got the close rounds given to him.
Pac landed only 81 punches the ENTIRE FIGHT thats 6.75 per round
shoulder injury or not, and he was thoroughly dominated by the pound-for-pound king.

Timothy Bradley. Robbery in the first fight. How do you score that fight for Bradley?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. A close fight but judges gave every close round to Floyd?

It's as if Pacquiao has to win by landslide or knock down Black fighters to get the round.

They give Pacquiao the benefit of the doubt vs. Mexicans. Especially the 3 fights with Marquez that was close.

                      Is it a racial thing?

                      Or just biased American judges?
So, here is what it is, folks. "I can't stand losing to a black guy or when the fighter I love lost to black guy".

I know at some point the truth would come out.
