If Khan says its close..that means its not even being discussed by Mayweather. Khan will end up looking like a jack arse again when he is not picked. He is trying to talk his way into a fight in which he has done nothing to showcase why he deserves it. How salty he will be when Mayweather picks undefeated champion Brook for his last hurrah.

No, Mayweather will figure Khan out by 3rd-4th round and will get a stoppage. Khan has been my guy for ages and as the saying goes: you miss 100% of the shots you never take, so you never know. Realistically Khan loses and probably gets stopped.

Kahn didn't have an off night, he is what he is, a basic fighter with fast hands.

He's never going to be consistently dominating, he's not that level fighter. But he's still pretty good.

What is even the point of this fight? Khan has lost a lot of fans and support recently and the only people who want to see it is a small contingent in the UK who blindly support him.

Lets try to think this thing out logically. Which A class boxer has khan actually beaten to deserve this shot? His best win was against Devon Alexander who was at the bottom of the list of the top ten welterweights. The only pound for pound fighter khan has actually faced was Danny Garcia and he lost in brutal fashion. He got ktfo by Prescott, and even Julio Diaz was within an inch of knocking khan clear out. Khan just got a gift decision against Chris algieri and its clear that khan has no power at welterweight. He has ducked anyone who has any power at all, all the while saying he deserves a shot at mayweather. He doesn't bring a belt to the table, and besides fast hands he doesn't do anything special. He has literally turned down title shots and skipped fighting just on the hope and prayer Floyd will fight him.

I dont believe for one second this will be floyds last fight. Hes going to say that just so he can get a huge purse to rematch pacquiao next year, however since hes claiming its his last, this fight does absolutely nothing to enhance his legacy whatsoever. I really think kell brook has a better chance of beating Floyd. If khan wasn't such a puss, he could have fought brook for a career high payday and also the ibf belt, and if he won then Floyd would almost have to fight him. He decided to take the safe and puss route and it finally backfired in his face against Chris algieri.

I dont get why khan fans are so die hard in defending him and his actions. I used to be a huge cotto fan but he lost me as a fan over the years with his actions. The only explanation I can think of is that these small group of fans want to make animal noises with khan. All khan fans should have the same nickname: Caitlyn!
