Floyds going to pick a fight that motivates him to want to get into the ring

Thurman is in with a chance, and so is Khan.

He's not going to pick a no name boxer from Sheffield

Floyd likes to study his opponents, there is nothing to study with Brook, cuz he's only ever been in one real fight

Thurman and Khan are front runners

or rematches with Cotto or JMM, which i just dont see happening

If Khan is chosen, i'm sure a people on here are going to start crying

Has Amir been allowed to watch the fight again , it seems not !
Khan had an off-night, get over it. Can happen to anyone, has happened to Floyd too. Khan overtrained for the fight but still whupped Algieri at only 45% of his true capability.

Part of the overtraining is Floyd's fault because he kept Khan waiting for a definitive answer about their potential May 2nd fight so Khan took more time off (and a longer camp) than is ideal. After Floyd decided on Pacquiao, Khan then had to search for another opponent and get a new fight date. That took time and in that extra time he over-trained.

Anyone can have off-nights.. Floyd had an off-night against Castillo and Maidana, does that mean he's any less of a fighter just because he had off-nights or is it only Khan that you criticise for having an off-night?

Khan probably is in the running however im sure Floyd, his team and his advisors guage the reaction of the media and the boxing fans about his next opponent and right about now, its an overwhelming thumbs down for Floyd to fight Khan.

Khan has a lot of "off-nights" and a lot of excuses.

the only appeal to this fight is the potential for excitement.

khan's got fast hands and a flat out bad chin. he might be able to touch floyd. floyd's a great counterpuncher. he's going to be able to touch khan.

on paper, that sounds like a fun fight. we might see somebody hurt in a floyd mayweather fight, for once. i'm not sure if casuals remember / know that people can get hurt or stopped in boxing matches.
