I think Brook is being hyped a bit too much, or a bit too early at least.

With that said, Khan could have fought Brook already and he didn't, he fought Algieri instead. Amir deserves criticism for that, he already delayed the Alexander fight and it costed him a belt, and possibly a shot at Floyd.

If Floyd was to fight somebody else than Brook or Khan , could it happen in September ?. Brook vs Khan would be much more interesting than Floyd vs either guy imo.

Fact is Khan-Brook will happen in due time. "Our" Hatton completely ducked Witter and it was all good. Difference being Khan-Brook "will" happen.

Brook's promoter Eddie Hearn labelled Khan scared for not facing his man despite the huge sums on the table.

But Khan, 28, was foul mouthed in his response when asked if he was tempted to end the debate by beating Brook.

The best way for Amir Khan to get a guaranteed shot at Mayweather would have been to fight Brook, beat him and take his world championship belt. Instead, he chose to fight a former junior welterweight champion who lost his last fight. When he fails to impress in that fight, Khan blames his condition, his trainer, his dog and everyone else he can come up with while continuing to claim that he deserves a shot at Mayweather.

I don't care who Mayweather fights in his last fight. However, Khan has done nothing to earn it. Maidana won a welterweight world championship. Ortiz won a world championship. Mosley won a world championship. Guerrero became the #1 contender at a time when there were no better options.

Khan has done absolutely nothing and should be fighting Brook or Thurman in his next fight, not Mayweather.

"Give Brook a shot"... funny as fhuk and pure ego.

Brook's the one with the belt, the recognition at WW and most importantly the one with the rising stock. Other than a handful of delusional Khan fanatics few would dismiss Brook's change of status over the past 12 months.

Absolutely. Also, I haven't seen Brook get knocked out twice, use cheap tactics in every fight, etc. Why should Kahn get any more credit or look down on him?

Khan doesn't mean to be a c**t about it but he can't help it because being a c**t comes naturally for Kahn.

Yeah it was okay for Hatton to fight lightweights whilst ducking Witter to this people, this is why i can't take them seriously over this, in an ideal world Khan should fight Brook take the belt and go after a Mayweather unification for the undisputed 147, but we live in the real world and as of now Brook should get a few better names on his resume, Khan win or lose has fought good names, some fights that he shouldn't have taken Pederson in DC for example when he was the champ, willing to fight Bradley who called him out even doe Bradley was a lesser name, fighting Garcia when he didn't have to, maidana, Devon etc

So if he wants to pace himself and get himself in position for a Mayweather fight then I don't blame him, I would bet with anyone that the Brook fight would happen 100% within the next 18-24 months, if Khan finally gets the Mayweather gig.

I think Team Khan would have a collective nervous breakdown, if\when Floyd picks an opponent other than Khan for his 49th fight.

That will be worth the price of admission ten-fold
