The risk against Canelo didn't stand up to the potential millions he could have made against Mayweather. Cotto couldn't have done to Kirkland what Canelo did. I bet he saw that fight and said, "Oh ****, I'm glad I didn't fight Canelo!"

Cotto loses miserably to both Canelo and GGG. He doesnt have it anymore and hasnt had it since he was beat to a pulp by Margarito, dont get me wrong illegal wraps or not Margarito beat Cotto if Cotto was that good he would have and should have won as Margarito was far overrated in all aspects of his fight game and always has been, his style was the only difficult thing about him. Cotto has lost in all his major shots against all major opponents and will do so once or twice again especially if he faces Alverez or GGG. Cotto should not be talking about legacy or anything like that especially considering who he has lost to. You can fight all the top names but if you dont beat any of them your just as good as a guy that hasnt fought a top name and calls you out
